Re: Poor Help cross-referencing and prioritizing of tasks

... I must assume that you actually know what IMNSHO means. You actually call your self in arrogant prick with this one acronym. By having the audacity to proudly proclaim that your opinion is so perfect as to not require a modicum of humility is to immediately declare your superiority to all who m...

Re: Poor Help cross-referencing and prioritizing of tasks

Harden (or lighten?) up people ! I don't think my comments were aggressive nor inappropriate - frustrated yes - slightly inaccurate maybe - but this is really a backhanded compliment. I expect a lot from the software I use and so expect to use Scrivener intuitively and quickly. * I'm not interested ...

Poor Help cross-referencing and prioritizing of tasks

After returning to Scrivener, I've just wasted 20 min of my life trying to split the viewing panel before finally finding it buried in View->Layout->SplitHorizontally. Either I've learnt nothing about intuitive navigation from using 20 different packages or else Scrivener's Help linkage is woeful (t...

Project and File Differentiation from a Launchbar Send

Doing an instant "Launchbar Send" on selected text to Scrivener places the text in a "Clippings" Folder in the latest edited Scrivener project. For this to be a useful though, I need to be able to first select the project and then the folder/file within that project. Currently tr...

Classifying Quicksilver Notes - Feature Request

Quicksilver's ability to append a note to any file is one of its most compelling features. There is a way of appending to Scrivener http://www.creativityist.com/2008/09/09/quicksilver-scrivener-carpal-bliss/ but ... much much nicer would be to able to specify a scrivener project and a binder file/fo...

Re: Subversion Woes

Actually, I think the issue was that before "committing" in Subversion (sending it to a central repository) you have to shut down Scrivener. I think this was documented somewhere but nonetheless it is still pretty annoying - but not enough to stop using these two very useful tools together...

Subversion Woes

I've just started using Scrivener and it looks quite promising. Difficulties with using it with subversion however is giving me second thoughts. I use a subclipse plug-in in Eclipse and have turned on the "subversion compatible saving" in Scrivener. Basically commits never seem to go throu...
