Re: Compile footnotes format not creating superscript

Thank you Rob. Both solutions worked. Compiling to RTF and-or using the enhanced converters
Saved me a lot of pain

Compile footnotes format not creating superscript

Hi, When I compile to Word, the footnote/endnote numbers are formatted same as surrounding text. eg, Looks like "education34 ,..". For some reason the number is not in superscript, and i really don't want to change them all manually. The manual -- and previous questions on this board -- po...

Re: “delisting” only one item from a list affects the whole list

Cannot help, but adding my voice to say I share your frustration. I am constantly having to redo list contents to get them back in order after I delete or remove a line. Would love to see a solution

Re: Compile to Word for Mac, need Bibliography after endnotes: SOLVED

Well, here is the solution (until MS changes things again) for MS Word 16 on Mac Main thing to be aware of is endnotes need to be at end of a section, not end of document, which is the default. 1: After last text, but before endnotes. Insert a section break, new page 2: In main menu: <insert> <footn...

Compile to Word for Mac, need Bibliography after endnotes

Hi, This is a MS Word, rather than Scrivener, question, but I am hoping someone here has faced, and resolved this issue. Word quite literally places endnotes at the end of a document. Hence, when I scan my references (I am using Bookends) and add a Bibliography, Word places this before the Endnotes....

Re: Compile questions

Hi TLL, Most importantly, which I found hard to get my head around, is do not format in Scrivener. I have a 90,000 word thesis and only have one preset style in the entire work. Everything is formatted using the 'no style' format. Some text is formatted using what I have called 'block quote' where I...

Posting again: problem with compiling bullet points

Hello, I am having a problem when compiling text with bullet points to rtf or word. Scrivener text looks like this (a bullet point, followed by a space, then text) This thesis has argued: • a person is ... • authenticity is ... When compiled to Word or RTF a second bullet point appears, with multipl...

Bullet points compile problem

I am having a problem when compiling text with bullet points to rtf or word. Scrivener text looks like this: This thesis has argued: • a person is ... • authenticity is ... And it compiles by putting in a second bullet point, like this (by the way, it looks like a 'dot' in word, but copies as that s...

Re: Compile formats

Hi Cinepou, This is a very broad question, and probably not as simple as saying 'here, use my template'. I am near the end of my PhD and have spent considerable time getting the compile template setup. There are still a couple of minor tweaks I need to do post-compile but I know what they are and so...

Inline Annotations changed colour from red to grey

Hi there, I use inline annotations frequently to highlight where I need to come back and correct some text, add a reference, etc. These have always appeared in red, and so very obvious and I can jump quickly to them. Yesterday all new annotations decided to appear in grey. Changing text colour in pr...

Header/Footer not exporting to Word on Compile

Compile has stopped including headers and footers when I export to Word. Nothing changed my end (other than last upgrade) -- ie it worked one day and then one day it did not. Have checked compile settings in headers and footers, still has text, pagination etc. but headers and footers coming through ...

Re: Hunting down first line indent problem

SInce most recent upgrade Compile has removed all first line indents for me. I have text set to compile as is, and have had no trouble in the past keeping indents that appear in the text. Now however Compile removes all indents and removes all blank lines between paras (eg sometimes I leave a para s...

Checking in on this. I still have this problem, and have updated to latest version. Is this still on list of fixes?
