Re: [LH4050][LH4233] Continued problems with Lists / Bullets - moving up/down and changing indent [RC1]

Wow, thank you Tridens for carrying this torch for us. And thank you to the developers, for whom I’m certain this wasn’t easy. I’ve been away from the forums (and writing) for a couple years now, and I was floored to return and find bullets and lists were still an issue. Holy shit, Microsoft. But in...

Re: Touch screen scrolling in Scrivener 3?

I have a question for everyone. I have literally never used a Windows Surface or any touch device running Windows, so please do forgive my ignorance...

Can you not just scroll with two fingers as you would on a touch pad?

This does not happen for me. All keyboard movements in binder work fine for me, including expand/collapse.

Yikes, you're right. This is basic column functionality and it really ought to be there.

Re: Scrivener 2.9.0.20 Beta: Search Crashes Scrivener

Do you have any "recovered files" at the very end of your Binder? In the past (haven't had to test this in a while), a project-wide search will crash Scrivener when it tries to search the recovered file.

I could not replicate this issue. Probably not an actual software bug. Could be something on your system / graphics driver.

I don't think your instructions are clear enough.

Navigate to text before or after what?

Re: Sideways text or inserting landscape document in otherwise portrait project?

Sorry if I'm the party pooper... but this doesn't really belong here. Also, in my opinion, Scrivener is the farthest thing from a document formatting and layout program. It's a writer's tool. To organize your thoughts and easily rearrange and perfect your writing. You'll have to do the final formatt...

Bullets change. This original post was about bullets. I didn't consider numbers. I'll concede. But......... bullets absolutely do change with tab.

Re: Continued problem with bullets in 2.9.0.21

Sorry, but that list is unhelpful in the worst way. Scrivener does (well, it should) work like other word processors. In fact, the very first item in your list is wrong; Scrivener does, in fact, change the bullet type when you tab to indent. Also, I'm not copying an old list every time I want to mak...
