Best Chalk font?

Dear Friends: I'm trying to create a chalkboard texture background option. I was able to figure out the background, but not how to use a chalk font. So could somebody please (1) offer a website to download the best chalk font and (2) tell me what I would do after I downloaded it to use in Scapple. M...

Best Training Video for Windows Users?

Dear Friends: Hope all is well. Could someone point me to a training video for Scapple for Windows? I'm having difficult "translating" from Mac training videos (especially learning the key strokes for the connecting arrows).
Many thanks.

Footnotes included in the overall word count

Dear Friends: Hope all is well. I'm wondering how I can have my word count for a specific document include the number of words in a footnote. I'm sure there's an easy way to do so. Right now, what's being counted are just the words in the documents, not the words in the footnotes.
Thanks much.

Re: Formatting Questions

Thanks David for your response. It's not a huge problem. Just a bit clumsy. We'll see what happens in version 3. Thanks again for your follow-up response.
Best wishes,

Re: Formatting Questions

Many thanks David for your prompt response. This is very helpful. Much appreciated. Best wishes, --Joe P.S. Regarding the highlight feature, I often default to double-spacing in my writing. So if I try to highlight text within, say, a paragraph, it always highlights the space area above. A bit frust...

Formatting Questions

Dear Friends: Hope all is well. I'm working on a book and have a few questions about formatting: 1. Can one use spellcheck in the footnotes? 2. Is there the ability to superscript a number? (I'm working with biblical references.). 3. Here's a highlight "quirkiness (see below). How can it just b...

Re: Needing Advice

Many thanks friends for your prompt and insightful comments. I think I'll stay with my current version and simply wait for the Scrivener 3 official release. Again, much appreciate your time and advice.

Needing Advice

Greetings friends: I'm currently using Scrivener Version: 1.9.16.0 for Windows . As one who works at a university, I'll have some time between Christmas and New Year's to continue to fiddle with the program (I'm working on a book.). Would you recommend downloading and using beta version 3, so my on-...

Style within a Note

Greetings. I'm relatively new to Scapple. I am wondering if one is able to change the color of just ONE word in a note. Also, is one able to change from lowercase to UPPERCASE of one word in a note.
Many thanks.

Cumulative Word Count...

Greetings. Happy New Year. Is there a way to see the cumulative word count for an entire document (not just for individual files) while viewing sub-documents (see attached example)? It would be very handy.
Thanks.

Formatting for the Synopsis Outline?

Greetings. I'm wondering if there is a way to change formatting before compiling a Synopsis Outline in a Word document? I checked the Scrivener manual but couldn't find any information. I will soon send a book proposal to a publisher and I'm trying to save a few steps. Any advice would be most appre...
