Re: B43: MMD metadata not compiling correctly

Sure thing, I've attached a project with two files. When I compiled these to HTML with B40 the MMD metadata was correctly inserted. As of B43 (and B44) it compiles the metadata into the body of the HTML file.

Thanks!

Re: B43: MMD metadata not compiling correctly

Thanks for your reply. While adding it to the metadata in the compile options does seem to work, it should be possible to include the keys in the text. This worked previously (see Amber's response to my B40 question and linking to standard test file). It's part of the MMD standard and it works using...

B43: MMD metadata not compiling correctly

I'm writing in MMD and compiling to Web (HTML). Any MMD metadata at top of MMD text file is being compiled into the HTML body as text, instead of converted to appropriate HTML <head> elements. For example, Title, CSS, copyright, etc. It works correctly using multimarkdown.exe from the command line. ...

Re: B40 Compiling Markdown to Web Page has Several Issues

I am typing in MMD, then compiling to html.

Unchecking the compile option to convert RTF to MMD fixed everything. Yay!

Thank you!

[LH4367] B40 Compiling Markdown to Web Page has Several Issues

Some things work (headers, unordered lists using *) but many things no longer work. E.g.

  • unordered lists using + or -
  • numbered lists
  • hyperlinks
  • block quotes
  • links to images on disk

Thanks,

Re: Buying ProWritingAid? Read this first.

The main problem for me is that if I create a new paragraph in PWA and open the file in Scrivener, the indenting/paragraphing is off (paragraph break appears as a line break). Could you please describe the settings in your Scrivener's editor? Hitting return in ProWritingAid inserts "\line"...

Re: How to write an image caption in MMD to copy into Wordpress?

Is this same / similar capability available on the Windows 3 beta? I followed the instructions up to the point of the "post-processing" script, but I do not see any place to specify that.

Thanks,
Tim

Re: [LH3440] Markdown Links and Links to Images Not Working with 2.90.15

That is super helpful, thank you. In the Section Layouts, the checkbox to enable formatting override is always unchecked and grayed out for compiling to MMD or it's related formats (MMD->HTML, etc.). I assigned some section layouts but that didn't change anything. If I switch to Print or PDF, then I...

Re: MMD compile issues

It's a bug. The state of the RTF->MMD checkbox should be respected and not ignored.

Re: MMD compile issues

Per AmberV on this thread: https://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=56344, the RTF->MMD option is enabled no matter what the setting. So if you are writing in raw MMD, it will have issues with the output..

Re: [LH3440] Markdown Links and Links to Images Not Working with 2.90.15

Thank you for the confirmation and explanation. Though I'd really like to make sure I understand a couple of things. I compiled to MMD and see what you posted, You say that it's obvious the RTF->MMD option is on (even through unchecked). Is it obvious because the square brackets and carots are escap...

[LH3440] Markdown Links and Links to Images Not Working with 2.90.15

The following works fine in 1.98 - the links work (external and footnote) and the image appears when compiled as Markdown -> Web HTML. But in the 3 Beta, when compiled the references simply appear as inline text in the HTML. This is a formatted ![image][] and a [link][] with attributes. [image]: htt...

Several second delay to view a folder containing several documents

I have a folder of draft content that contains 45 text documents. Clicking on the folder takes several seconds delay before displaying the grid of document info. Each time. Similar to the report https://www.literatureandlatte.com/web/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=52151&p=266411&hilit=slow#p...

Re: Project Settings, Formatting, unable to adjust line indent

Thank you. The "Use Current" button does indeed change the formatting in that preview window: ⋅ font ⋅ line spacing ⋅ indents (triangles set to zero) However, creating a new document after changing these settings, only the font is applied correctly. The line s...
