I installed both emergency patches. They both worked for a couple of days and then stopped. I'm thinking this is an intermittent problem for me. Yesterday the message popped up. Tonight, however, no message. Someday it appears and some days is doesn't. I

Same here, scrivener has been working fine for the last two or three days since the last update. Now, today, I'm getting the 3/6 month notice again.

Just downloaded the latest emergency patch. The program fired up without a hitch. The real test will be tomorrow when I start it for the first time that day.

After working well for several days I am also getting the new 3/6 month message. It just started tonight.

The update appears to have worked fine, the software opens pretty quick and I don't get the warning note anymore. Thank you guys.

After having received the warning notice every day for about a week, yesterday and today Scrivener has opened without a blip.

I am having a similar problem on a Win7 machine. I received the first notice a week or two ago and just had another. This one said I have 2 more months and Scrivener will revert to trial mode. The software keeps hanging up while I'm using it and sometimes takes several seconds to respond to keystrok...

Thanks Znorker. I've been having trouble getting Scrivener to open since the last Java 8 update. I tried reinstalling the update but that didn't work, and finally I used your link to figure out how to set Scrivener to work in comparability mode and it is opening again now. I just installed the hot patch and opened and closed the software several times. On the first start I had an error message that said a font could not be loaded and would be ignored. The software started up almost immediately afterward. I closed Scrivener again, then reopened and closed several more ...

I'm having the same problem today on Win7 Pro. I updated yesterday and today Scrivener won't open. At first the software would try to open and then hang at about 79% complete and after several minutes, if I hovered over the header bar, windows would tell me the software isn't responding. Now it's go...
