When will Technical support end for 1.9?

Now that 3.0 has finally released, my question is how long will tech support for 1.9 be maintained? This is in ref for known bugs and so forth within the program as well as software vulnerabilities.

Re: Confused - Is There A Beta Version of Scrivener Windows 3?

I have used the beta versions of several pieces of software over the years and all of them have made the name of the beta file consonant with the title given to the upcoming version. I used WordStar version 0.9 (i.e. the pre-release beta of 1.0) to write my doctoral thesis, back in ye olde CP/M day...

Re: Australian English Dictionary infested with useless American idioms! Clean it up! ASAP!

Defman (Deafman) if your able to find a 'pure' language that is not corrupted by others let me know. Also be sure to make sure its purged of Latin, Greek and so forth as the early English scholars polluted it with their own creation of words that had never been used before. Also be sure its purged o...

Re: Error on upgrade of from RC19 to RC20

I had no problem install from when the notification popped up saying there was an update. One thing I would suggest depending on your antivirus is by disabling it and see if it continues. There are some that seem to be blocking its install or usage.

Just a thought.

If you leave the program open, you can always use the 'check for updates' feature within the program itself.

It's actually listed in Announcements at the top but here is the link as well. Just choose between the 64 and 32 bit version.

Re: Scrivener error

Then, as I have learned to do, I went into the directory to zap the folder it was installed in. No folder, which is a new behavior that I've never seen the uninstall do, before--Always, up until this last (RC18), there's been a residual folder with residual files left... Sooooo... Either this is a ...

Tiho explained that the updater was pointing to the wrong installer (32bit vs 64bit) version.

Re: UPDATE BROKE SCRIVENER

Sorry for the harsh words, but this forum is the clear proof that nobody reads previous posts . It has already been reported several times. That is true, but this is likely something different - I was about to post this as well, and Scrivener has never broke for me (I'm aware it has for others) aft...

Re: Scrivener error

As a followup went to uninstall program. When I looked at the list I had 2 listings for Scrivener that could be uninstalled along with 1 that is ghosted and cannot be accessed. Of the 2 programs listed 1 was version 2.9.9.6 with the other as 2.9.9.7. There was no listing for my licensed copy of 1.9....

Word Option overlap

While going through the options I noticed this.

Screen resolution is set to 150% .

There are other areas as well such as Edit/Find/Find Previous Formatting...

And Documents/Snapshots/Take Snapshots...
to name a few.

Re: [LH4693] Odds and quirks of copy & paste (RC10)

Honestly Devin, there is no Specific way of writing it. The problem is with how 'we' will interpret the words with our inner voice; Demeaning, sarcastic, and so forth no matter how the writer verbalized it to them. You were, are, doing the coding team a favor by reminding others who keep advocating ...
