Re: [RC2] 'Edit Format' window in Compile screen is buggy

Can you be a bit more specific on the screen size, resolution and if DPI is enabled as well. There have been known problems with this.

Re: RC2 (and about what is a release candidate)

There will come a day when software will come out perfect with no flaws and exactly what was requested as developers take out the one problem that hampers its all---humans and their in-perfections.

Re: Update within Beta

As of late Evening (EST) the updater showed ver 2.9.9.2. Downloaded and installed no problems. Opened and reported expiration date of 14 Apr 2020. Unlike jje I only show 2 versions in my app list. Mine still shows a 2.9.0.23 (which I have no intention of modifying) while the other is 19160 (I have p...

Re: Will the next Beta Update come in time?

It's very unlikely they'd change their approach this late in the beta, and such an approach as the one listed above leaves the product more open to software piracy. Also you do 'not' need to uninstall and then download and reinstall. I've been using the beta's for a long time and decided to test ou...

Re: Will the next Beta Update come in time?

I totally understand not wanting to chase bugs in older beta versions that have been solved in newer versions but one way to solve that problem is to require any bug submission to be in the current beta version which means whoever wants to submit the bug report has to be sure they are using the cur...

Re: Selecting font with mouse in toolbar

I'm using 44 and mouse and not having any problem with it. I right click move over to font and click on it bringing up the menu. Hovering the cursor within the box (not clicking) I'm able to use the scroll with no problem.

That was from earlier, it must have been resolved now.

Re: Bug - Single quote mark facing wrong way after double quote mark

Ok, I could see this not being a Scrivener-specific problem. I can work around it. I've been a programmer and a quality engineer before, so I posted it because I figured they'd want to know about it. Thanks guys! No, I see it as a bug but not one program specific to just Scrivener. It wouldn't show...

Re: Bug - Single quote mark facing wrong way after double quote mark

One way I found that seems to fix the problem is to put the single ' up first and then put the " before it. I've tested it a few times and it seems to work.

The problem seems to me that it stems from the idea that the single quote is being taken as part of the double quote.

Re: Please allow us to purchase a license for the Windows Scrivener beta

As there is no place to input a key and if done would keep the beta from expiring then I'm sure the answer will be 'No'. As for allowing the beta to open so the user can update that might cause a few issue problems. One being that people 'Won't' do the update even if forced. I'm sure there are those...

File Options

In File Options there is a checkmark on the project that is first open. When you click on another one it opens with its checkmark there. My question is, is it possible to have the option to click multiple ones and not just one at a time as with having them stay open as with having the option to have...

Re: Forced constant beta update

I thought I was dealing with a small operation run by somebody investing their time in creating software they felt passionate about, and understandably wanting to get paid for their time. In regards to the two years (?) delay of the Windows v3 release, I was thinking that it's understandable, with ...

Re: Bug? B40 and Windows registry.

See also . I had done those steps to removed previous versions I had uninstalled but as I don't really see it as a problem I think I'll let it stand. I had also uninstalled the program 2 or 3 times after that version due to some type of issue but its been working just fine now as I use the built in...
