Font size changed?

I have had this happen a few times. I typed a page and looked back at it. One half of one sentence switched from 12 pt to 11 pt. I am not sure how this is happening, am I hitting a key inadvertently? Thanks for your help.

Re: Spacing errors

Discovered that the format settings for this one document was set with a different value. Line height had a value greater than 0 in it and so that threw off the spacing for me. Hope that helps someone else.

Spacing errors

I have several chapters, each with Times New Roman 12, 1.5 spacing. I have at least one of those chapters that seems to have 2 or more spacing yet the header indicates 1.5. I tried to change it to 1 then back to 1.5 but it remains the same larger spacing. What am I missing? Every other chapter is fi...

Re: Searching across backups?

Sorry, ZIP files are not searchable. (The reason is that the compression algorithm is effectively a form of encryption. ZIP files do not contain human readable text.) Sorry, I lost my roll against pedanticism. ZIP files *are* searchable but the software has to take the extra step to de-compress the...

Searching across backups?

I am completely missing a passage in my current version. I remember writing it but must have inadvertently deleted it, I have the daily backups, a bunch of them on drop box. Aside from unzipping and reopening every single file (not sure when I actually wrote it, probably a month ago...), is there a ...

Amber, I'll give this a try, thank you!

KB wrote:No, comments do not support images. You can insert images into the notes area for reference, though, or you can import them into the project and have them as document bookmarks.

All the best,
Keith

Thanks Keith

Inserting a photo in comments

I tried to insert a photo in the comments (it is a .png) and it appeared to work but the photo itself did not appear. Using MacOs, Sierra. Is this possible--I don't want it in the body of the manuscript, it's just for my own reference. Thank you
