Re: Scrivener style's “draw a box around text” option, and more...

Scrive, Thanks for the contribute. I like your "a subtle, color coded meme " comment. That's exactly what I'm going for that traditional highlighting doesn't deliver. "" feature retroactively" is also a feature I seek—now that you mention it. I'm holding out there may be a s...

Re: editor opening in top ⅓ of doc...

I've done some more testing and found something interesting and repeatable. It has to do with the ruler showing for not showing. When it's not showing, the behavior is as expected: the editor window opens up to where the cursor was last positioned. However, when the ruler is showing, and the cursor ...

Re: editor opening in top ⅓ of doc...

no. all projects It is very irritating. I can set the window to display the first row of text. I then click off the article to a second article, and them click back to the first article. Rather than appearing where I left off (at the top, even with the cursor in the first row), the window opens down...

editor opening in top ⅓ of doc...

Shortly after updating to MacOS 15.3 I noticed Scrivener opening the editor window about ⅓ the way down the document.. Previously, when I clicked on a document in the binder, the editor would display the top of the document. This is with MacOs 10.15.3 + Scrivener 3.15 (12258). I've also noticed—afte...

I'm using Scrivener for Mac (v3.1.3 (11945) on a early 2015 MacBook pro » Command + B does create bold text. Command + B does not unbold text.

I've been using Scrivener for 2+ years and this app just gets better and better. Thank you to all involved. I need some guidance in the scriptwriting / transcript area: I can't get the setting of my own rewind / fast forward time increment to work. Presently the ⌥⇧⌘] and the ⌥⇧⌘[ are working with th...

Re: compliling a numeric-alpha outline....

Hi Amber. I'm back for more.... 1) one basic thing I can not seem to get right is if I lead off with "<$hn>" the code scrivener outputs show this to be a subsection "X.x" format instead of the desired "X" » yet, So with that in mind, let me share that here is the under ...

Re: compliling a numeric-alpha outline....

in regards to Wouldn’t that be a matter for the underlying HTML header level depth, rather than any numbering typed (or generated) into the heading? I.e. if you are pushing your outline depth in Scrivener artificially merely to obtain a deeper HTML starting point, and battling against the placeholde...

Re: compliling a numeric-alpha outline....

Hi Amber, I think my problem stems from in my formatting environment the heading/sub-heading relationship does not start with heading 1. Instead, it starts with heading 3. This is due to how WordPress forces the use of heading 1 to the main title of the post, and not the first main section of the po...
