How to control the color of text in compiled PDF?

I like dark mode, and I've set the text color under Options / Colors / Editor (and Composition mod) / Text to a custom color (something other than the default) When I compile to PDF using Manuscript (Times), the body text is the color that I've set (mentioned above). The header, section break #, and...

Re: [LH3796] : Compile Formatting issue in PDF using Scrivener built in format

Still happening: Version: 2.9.0.36 Beta (818046) 64-bit - 28 Jan 2020 I've looked for some pattern that might cause this, like combined sections on the same page, chapter titles or none present, etc. It "seems" random, though the lines are getting cut-off consistently on specific pages acr...

Re: Default Text Color in Dark Themes Too Dark for Theme?

Answering myself here: I wound up just manually fixing everything in the existing manuscript.

Re: Compile sometimes produces page with top and/or bottom line partially displayed

Cool; thanks again...

I've posted a note on this topic (https://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=58576) in the hopes that it's in a good spot where folks might take notice.

Re: [LH3796] : Compile Formatting issue in PDF using Scrivener built in format

This has been improved and hopefully fixed in the next Beta 28 update. Hi there, I just wanted to add a note here that this issue seems to be continuing in Beta 29. FYI: I started a separate there here ( https://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=59644 ) before I learned that...

Re: Compile sometimes produces page with top and/or bottom line partially displayed

Thanks for the info, gents. Seems a bit klunky for those wishing to provide up-to-date feedback. For example, I've found two forum topics related to the topic (they share the same code): [LH3796] Compile slicing lines horizontally in half across page breaks (this mentions the next link) [LH3796] : C...

Re: Compile sometimes produces page with top and/or bottom line partially displayed

Thanks, devinganger.

I appreciate the link.

Potentially dumb follow-up question: Does L&L have a bug tracking system, or is subscribing to the forum links the best way to keep track of the progress of these and other bugs?

Default Text Color in Dark Themes Too Dark for Theme?

Hi there, This is probably a dumb question, but I searched for an answer here, and couldn't find one, so I'm posting it here. In v.3 beta 29, in a new project, using Novel Format, the default text when creating a new scene under a chapter is white. The same goes for notes, and a few other things. Te...

[LH3796] Compile sometimes produces page with top and/or bottom line partially displayed

I've opened a v.3 project originally created on a Mac in the Windows beta 29. When I run Compile and view the PDF some lines are being chopped horizontally and only partially displayed. Sometimes it's the top line, sometimes the bottom, and sometimes both. I've attached an example here with the top ...

Re: Plain Table of Contents (ToC) titles while considering Section Titles eBook Compile

Hi Bridey, Thanks for the reply. Yep, that's the format I'm looking for, but I was hoping to do this automatically using structure based formatting, if possible while also using the chapter folder as a way to insert a subtitle onto the page between Chapter One and the first section. It's weird how s...

Plain Table of Contents (ToC) titles while considering Section Titles eBook Compile

Hi there, I have been having a devil of a time trying to get what I want out of Scrivener 3 with regards to a "plain" ToC. In brief, my desired format for an eBook is as follows (see attached for folder hierarchy : Chapter One Section Title (I grab the title from the folder name of the Cha...
