Yep, very similar solution approach!

Re: Inlined MathType equations not inlined in epub, low in docx

I don't particularly like to reply to myself, but I've found a fix to the issue of the MathType equations. I just added a custom CSS line to the project format: p img {display:inline; height:20pt; margin: 0em 0em 0em 0em} All images within a paragraph are now inlined, which doesn't seem to be an iss...

I just came across this issue (inlined MathType equations) as well. Any workaround? Is it going to be fixed?

Re: Feature Request: Pass through table styling when compiling to KF8/Mobi

I had thought that the “treat as raw markup” box only applied to MultiMarkDown. The documentation certainly implies as much. Hmm, are you referring to the description provided on page 610, under §24.5.3? The one practical example I gave is HTML specific. In fact I did just edit that entry a bit aft...

Re: Feature Request: Pass through table styling when compiling to KF8/Mobi

Thanks! That does it. I think that for me the "Raw HTML" solution is just what I want. I hadn't realized that was possible -- I had thought that the "treat as raw markup" box only applied to MultiMarkDown. The documentation certainly implies as much.

Feature Request: Pass through table styling when compiling to KF8/Mobi

Table styling (alignment, borders, and column widths are my concerns) specified in Scrivener 3 are maintained in the compiled output except for ebooks, even though HTML allows for such settings. This means that every table must have identical styling. Perhaps there is a way to override the styling on...

Re: Bad HTML generated for bullet list, also appears as numbered list KF8/MOBI compile, Scrivener 3.0.1

I'm even more confused today! I realized that bullet lists worked fine before, just not in text section that I just started writing in (it was empty and imported from Scrivener 2). I happened to notice that the tab stops in the ruler were different in this section than in the others with working bul...

Bad HTML generated for bullet list, also appears as numbered list KF8/MOBI compile, Scrivener 3.0.1

Sorry if this has already been reported. The line in a BULLET list looks like this in Scrivener: bullet.jpg when compiled looks like this: 1. style =" color: #000000" > • Registers seen by the programmer: The list starts with an ol tag with the generated html being broken, looking like thi...

Re: Kindlegen now fails in Scrivener 3.0.1 -- Invalid nav element.

Workaround works, but it is bizarre. I don't understand that HTML Elements pane at all (and the documentation isn't clear to me in the slightest).
Anyway, this gets me going, but I'll be happy when 3.0.2 arrives.

Kindlegen now fails in Scrivener 3.0.1 -- Invalid nav element.

Just upgraded to Scrivener 3.0.1 and now I can't compile for KF8/MOBI. Here is the log file for Kindlegen, abreviated: ************************************************************* Amazon kindlegen(MAC OSX) V2.9 build 1028-0897292 A command line e-book compiler Copyright Amazon.com and its Affiliate...

Good way to keep both versions around and favor Scrivener 2

Here's how you can keep both versions, using Scrivener 2 by default, yet have Scrivener 3 available. ⋅ I recommend renaming the applications (in your Applications folder) "Scrivener 2" and "Scrivener 3" so that it's easy to keep track of what you are launching. ⋅&n...

Re: Strange Code Block formatting and character problem upgrading to Scrivener 3, EPUB and MOBI

The bug with underscores being incorrectly escaped in code blocks is fixed for the next update. Keith, Is this somehow related to Markdown? Is it trying to do some Markdown conversion even though I don't use it and haven't checked the boxes? In the example I show in the first post in this thread, t...

Re: 'Align Text Centre' button in the Text editor is overridden by paragraph indents in the compiler when publishing as

I've found that "as-is" and "Preserve Formatting" claims for KF8 and Epub3 output, but not for the older formats, to be bogus. I don't use first line indents because I was having issues. I looked at your example and can see the problem. No link but otherwise the text is yours. He...
