Minor BUG: Text rendering problem in High DPI version

In some situations, text appears to be clipped (at 100% magnification and bigger/smaller magnifications):- Screenshot 2020-09-18 093205.jpg Notice the last character before the space, "8" and "O", appears to be clipped. This only seems to happen if there is a space after that las...

Minor annoyance: Irregular line widths when displaying other than 100%

I've noticed that the horizontal lines tend to show up differently on different lines when displaying below or above 100% magnification. See attached capture from the High DPI version:-

BUG: Inconsistent contextual menu launch

When I right click on a PDF file in the Binder, I notice that I sometimes need to do this twice before it properly registers. For example:- - I start up Scrivener - I drag a PDF file onto a document, thus placing it under that document's sub-tree - I right click on that newly added PDF file and sele...

Hi-DPI 2.9.9.6 crashes

I've been trying to use the High-DPI 64-bit version of 2.9.9.6 on my machines. On two of them - laptops, they just shut down without a message after a while and dumps you back to the Desktop. On my desktop machine it seems to be working.

BUG: Highlighted document directory missing drop down arrow

Bump - this problem is still present in the latest Beta: I've circled the place where the pointer disappears (or blends into the highlight colour.)

BUG: Problem selecting text in PDF on high DPI

I am running a 4K monitor and have Scrivener running in high DPI mode. I've added a PDF file but found that the selection point for text in the PDF does not match the mouse position. So you can select text but it is offset from where you are actually pointing the mouse. Has anyone else seen this pro...

Re: Really Impressed

I agree. I'm not sure if it's my imagination but the irregular character spacing issue appears to be resolved now!!! The text is now looking so much better. Well done team!

Printing looks different from Mac Scrivener

I noticed that the way prints are formatted are different from on a Mac. This is especially with respect to the date and file name top line. It appears only on the first page it seem, whereas on the Mac it appears on every page. Further more, it is printed within the margins whereas on the Mac, it i...

Re: Scrivener 2.9.0.20 Beta: Search Crashes Scrivener

I suppose the logical thing to do is to determine if it is the size of the project that's causing the problem or a particular file. I would create a new project and start copying segments of the old project over and see at which point it starts crashing. From there, I might try to work out if it is ...

You may also want to try "Save and Rebuild Search Indexes" under the "File" menu and see if that helps.

Does this crash on all PC's you tried it on? Or just this one?

Re: Scrivener 2.9.0.20 Beta: Search Crashes Scrivener

So it appears to be related to either the size of the project or some of the specific contents. That would be hard for me to reproduce since my largest projects does not exhibit the same issue. How much RAM do you have on your machine?

Does this happen if you create a new, small project with very few files?
