Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

Great news!

So happy that the iOS update seems to resolve the problem. I’d been incredibly lucky with my outlier solution, but kept feeling sorry for everybody else.

Cheers, and keep it up!

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

Something curious happened last week after I’d deleted Scrivener from my iPad. From time to time, for about two or three weeks, Dropbox had prompted me after logging in on my Mac for my admin pw to “change folder permissions.” This seemed to be the known “folder permissions” Dropbox bug, which usual...

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

The problem persists and persists and now my little trick with removing one file on my Mac from the Scrivener folder, syncing, then adding it again, then syncing again, doesn’t work anymore because now I have another peristent error message on my iPad that I can’t get rid off, see attachment. During...

Thanks for asking, I tried. Sadly, no—with a 100kb project, it didn’t work. Beats me why not, though.

Yes of course, a meant project.

I’ll revise my original post to prevent misunderstandings.

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

[Edited for clarification (projects)] Not sure this helps but anyway. I found a work-around to sync between my Mac and my iPad: 1. On Mac or iPad, I close the Scrivener project after working on it. 2. Sync on iPad invariably crashes during “file list” retrieval. 3. On Mac, I remove a random Scrivene...

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

I’m also affected. Sync doesn’t work anymore, neither on my iPhone 11 with iOS 13.2.3, nor on my iPad Pro 3rd Gen 12.9 with iPadOS 13.2.3. It says “Downloading file list…” and then invariably crashes. So I can’t use the mobile version anymore. P.S. just updated both devices to 13.3, doesn’t change a...

Images look faded and have false colors

Not sure if it’s a bug or if I’m doing something wrong. I have a lengthy document with numeours images (png with transparencies; all imported, not linked), and for months and months, I worked every day with it until last week, and everything was fine. Today, I opened the document again after about a...

Re: Scrivener 3 Omissions

I also used the context menu to empty the trash. Where do I add a keyboard shortcut? I can't find anything to that effect in the Preference menu?

Re: Wrap text

ISTARA thank you, you made my day!!! I’d given up already, after about an hour, and downgraded back to Scrivener 2.

It’s almost like they hid it on purpose.

NOW I can enjoy Scrivener 3! :D
