Re: iOS Scrivener far too eager to scroll while text is being selected

You’ve probably got typewriter mode on.

If you turn it off before selecting text, it’s fine.

A bit frustrating – but a viable workaround for now.

Re: Scrivener should become subscription

I will support Scrivener whether it’s one-time pay, yearly pay like Agenda, or subscription.

Just please update the iOS app :D

It’s got the potential to be so utterly glorious.

Typewriter scrolling bug on iPad

Hi guys, I have typewriter scrolling set to the top third of my screen. It works fine most of the time. But if I switch between apps using the switcher at the bottom of the screen, left or right, and come back to an open Scrivener file, the cursor gets locked on the bottom third of the screen. I hav...

Issues pasting from Scrivener to Notes

I just tried pasting text from a Scrivener document to the Apple Notes app, and it refused to let me paste the text and instead inserted this: https://i.postimg.cc/GTTxRGjq/AEEE32-C9-9921-4337-9133-E3-AACFFAB3-EC.png This is a bit frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this? Pasting from any other...

Re: Will iOS Scriv Work in iPad OS?

All this sounds like it makes it pretty imperative to do whatever it takes to get iCloud sync.

Re: IPad Pro 2018 support

Quite so. I struggled with a severe case of OCD when I was quite a bit younger; cracked knuckles, three-hour morning rituals and all that. Apologies if I came across as dismissive in my request for a screenshot. It is something I'd be curious to see if you get a chance, though. Here are some screen...

Re: More keyboard shortcuts on iOS

Just to add onto this –

A keyboard shortcut for full screen/hide binder would be amazing too :)

More keyboard shortcuts on iOS

I would just like to put in a request for more keyboard shortcuts ahead of the iOS update.

Currently the main actions I perform daily that I would love a shortcut for are:

1. Share > Send a copy
2. Formatting text as a Heading 1
3. Search (for files, not find within document)

Re: IOS 13

Personally, I like iPad Scrivener (it is a beautiful work of sleek and unobtrusive design) but dislike the ergonomics of using a touchscreen device. I like Scrivener 3, but I'd be more than happy to have iPad Scrivener on a Mac. I think a lot of other users would also feel the same, especially as i...

Re: Considering iOS for Scriv. How do YOU use it?

I'm considering switching from my Android table to an iPad (partly because Scrivener supports it). I doubt I'd do serious writing with an iPad (I have a Macbook for that), but I might want to use it to do some plotting, scene creation, note taking etc. Do you use your iPad for things like that? Can...

Re: IPad Pro 2018 support

Are you saying you would never want to see the time, battery and other status while in Scrivener? I don't know if this would be a thing that is easily made optional, or as a condition of how the software is used. We don't have a "full screen" implementation in the sense that lunk describe...

Re: What does iOS 13 mean for Scrivener iOS and iCloud Sync?

It would be absolutely MASSIVE for Scrivener on iOS to get a nice big update and make the most of some of the new features on iPadOS and iOS 13. The lack of updates in almost two years is a bit worrying. But that being said, maybe that means that Keith is aiming more for only dropping big updates wh...

Re: IPad Pro 2018 support

I have the latest 12.9" iPad Pro. All it would take is moving the Scrivener app to a newer version of Xcode and implementing that version as an update to remove the black bars. Given the duration of time that has passed since the last update, however, this doesn't seem to be high on the list o...

Re: Please update iOS app to fit the new iPad Pro

The black lines you talk about are the top bar with date/time, wifi symbols etc, and on the bottom the swipe up control. I have no issue with either being present, and in fact expect them. Most of the productivity software I use seems to have it, though on light mode the bars are the same colour as...

Re: Please update iOS app to fit the new iPad Pro

I don’t seem to be able to edit my post, so here’s a screenshot. This is what Scrivener looks like on the new 12.9 iPad Pro. Most apps have been updated to fit the new screen.
