Beta 34: Page numbers in "different page layout for left and right pages"

Using different page layout for left and right pages, page numbers are only displayed on left pages, but not on right pages (except it is title or first page). When unchecking the different page layout, page numbers are shown correctly. With Beta 33 this was no problem. I am sure, it came with the n...

Re: Big big problem with folder sync

The settings for the "sync with external folder" are within the sync menu, so you can only guess. For me it would make more sense, if I could turn on/off autosync based on the machine and not on the project. As the settings for the binder and inspector width, which is done by mousedrag and...

Re: Big big problem with folder sync

Yes, this is what I am doing now, and I see your point.
Problem is, that you can't see which settings are per project and which ones are global. Most of the settings seem to be per project, an not everything makes sense. And trial and error is a bad way to find it out.

Re: Big big problem with folder sync

I do both. I have my Scrivener project in an ordinary Dropbox folder, als you call it, and share it between desktop computer and laptop. Additionally I do "Sync with external folder", since this is the only way to have the files at hand with my Android devices. It is strongly recommended n...

Re: Nearly impossible to find where to download the latest beta

You only consider people like the TO who just forgot to run the update via Scrivener in time. But what about the people who are visiting the beta forum for the first time? The don't have an idea about version numbers oder static locations of a specific thread. They only see the date of the post and ...

Big big problem with folder sync

Not so long ago I bought a Laptop and installed Scrivener on it. As recommended, my scrivener project is stored in the cloud (Dropbox), and it syncs like a charm between my PC and the Laptop. In addition I use folder sync with another Dropbox folder which I access with my smartphone and an android t...

Re: Preferences, saving, loading, etc

I don't think that "no style" is meant to be saved with a specific style. This is why it is called "no style"

Re: Announcement of new Beta Versions

Please try not to look through your eyes but with the eyes of somebody who wants to give the beta a first try. It looks like an old thread which isn't updated anymore. Until September 2018 at least an answer was posted in addition to editing the opening post so one could see that there were some cha...

Announcement of new Beta Versions

A common question in Facebook Scrivener Group is where to find the actual Beta version of Scrivener 3 for Windows. Since the date of the forum post never changes, it is hard do see that this is the place to find the most actual version, especially if you are not familiar with the version numbering. ...

[LH3514|3515] Typewriter Scrolling in Writing Mode

Typewriter scrolling is gone when I switch to Writing mode. I have to use the key shortcut Strg-F11 to regain it. Furthermore the cursor stays at the bottom line and I have to scroll to get it back to the middle of the page. It would be great if typewriter scrolling would be kept from the setting in...

Re: Beta 14: Creating or redefining a style doesn't save the paragraph format

I have a similar problem with font size and line space. I use two paragraph styles ("1.Absatz" and "Absatz"), the only difference ist the text indent of the first line. "Absatz" is working fine when applying to a paragraph which is styled different oder not at all. &quo...

Bug in Text to Speech (German)

I am not sure if this is a bug in Scrivener or in Windows, but when I use the built-in TTS of Scrivener (Edit - Language - Speak), it "autocompletes" some words (IE "selbst" is read as "selbständig"), what is quite confusing.
Can anybody reproduce this?
Thx
