What a gem. Thanks for bringing that to our collective attention.

Re: Alternative to Dropbox - WebDAV or Git?

Git fundamentally depends on human-based conflict resolution. That is, a human looks at two different versions of a source file and says "yes, version A is what I want." The problem is that Scrivener's component files are RTF, not plain text, and it's very difficult for a human to make th...

Re: Alternative to Dropbox - WebDAV or Git?

I am aware that iScrivener sync is Dropbox only at the moment. But hopefully this is not the status for the next 100 years. As Dropbox does not comply with the rules of the basic data protection regulation at various levels, our team is prohibited from using the service. I recommend WebDAV support....

Re: Does Scrivener3 support iCloud?

Maximising Mac Storage was what I meant was a shortcut to disaster on iCloud, but even with that turned off I don’t use it between my laptops because I can’t check at a glance whether the changes to the project(s) have finished uploading/downloading before I shut down or open the project when I cha...

I just meant for MacOS only. So iCloud and Google Drive work on MacOS version? Re: Does Scrivener3 support iCloud?

Also, allowing iCloud to manage your Desktop and Documents folders is a shortcut to disaster! But with care it's usable, I believe, but I use Dropbox and Sync for active projects, keeping my zipped backups on iCloud. I think iCloud is OK for Desktop and Document folders as long as you turn off Maxi...

Re: Does Scrivener3 support iCloud?

Assuming you mean for sync between Mac and iOS, nothing has changed. Dropbox is still the only supported way.

Re: Help Please

Don't have an answer for you but would suggest you post in the iOS Tech Support forum (viewforum.php?f=53) since the little OS indicator says you're working in Scrivener for iOS. (If not so, please disregard.) Hope you get an answer soon. Good luck.

Re: Odd behavior (fonts)

Very strange - I've never seen glitchy behaviour in this myself and I don't believe we have had any similar reports (albeit one, which was slightly different and I don't think related). When text reverts to Helvetica, it usually means that the font is not available, which is strange. Some text migh...

Odd behavior (fonts)

Have been going back and forth with default fonts the last couple of days, and noticed some odd behavior (Scrivener 3.03 for Mac, 1.15 for iOS on both iPad and iPhone). Let’s say I want to change all documents in a project to fit the app‘s Preferences default formatting ( Preferences > Editing > For...

Re: New writing font for monospace lovers...

After using Cousine for a while, I came to the conclusion that I could live with hyphens/dashes not being super-distinct—but I was spending far too much time squinting at the screen trying to tell which way English typographic quotes were pointing. Now I waver between Source Code Pro and Ubuntu Mon...

From that very page:
Warning: Though many features are already working as expected, Manuskript is still in heavy development. If you consider using it for serious work, do frequent backup !

Very helpful; thank you! I found this for the first time this week, after switching back to Scrivener following a brief dalliance with Ulysses, and was delighted to see how easy is to do this.

Re: Scrivener 2 and High Sierra

Anecdotal evidence, I know, but I installed High Sierra last night and Scrivener 2 ran just fine on it, APFS and all. As long as your Mac meets the requirements, you should be fine.
