Re: Composition mode/Dual Screen/Control Panel

Hello there, I update this post because with almost the same config (macbook pro 13" and 27" monitor), I got the same problem when in composition mode. The screen is on the left of the monitor, and Scrivener/Composition mode can be on the 1st or the 2nd monitor, still the problem : the con...

Re: Compilation replacements actually substitutes in footnotes

Sure, I can send you my project, just tell me where =)

edit : just tried to put the tag also in the document, and it works like magic, so the bug seems to be located in the footnote.

Compilation replacements actually substitutes in footnotes

Hi there, In order to help a member of the facebook FR group, I tried to place a tag in multiples footnotes in order to place the same text in different footnotes. > Created 2 footnotes in which I wrote the tag <$olala> > in Compile settings, Replacements tab, I created a new line where <$olala> is ...

Page Numbers in ToC aren't vertically aligned... at all !

Hi there,

I created a ToC for my script, and this is the result.
I tried to play with the tabs, but I don't understand how it works (can't understand the alignment of the tabs, nor in the Screenplay mode configuration btw).
How can I fix that ? Thanks a lot...

Re: My wish list

Edit : the Styles panel concerns the text, not the bubbles ! Inside the bubbles I organize my thoughts with some basic formatting.

My wish list

Dear Sant... eh, Keith, I woke up this morning with some thoughts about Scapple, this amazing software I use a lot these days. I surely miss one thing : the Style panel ! Just like the bubbles one, just to automatize some modifications. And I got an idea that could change my writers life : same note...

Re: Translation mistake

French translation has also many problems, for example the whole Compile module is still in english. Keith, I'm not a professional translator but I'm a french native speaker, and I use Scrivener since 2011. I created the facebook group "ScrivenerFR" and I think I could help if you need. In...

Re: PDF with crop marks and bleed

My opinion differs from yours, if Scrivener allows to modify the margins and the size of the police (it's some design stuff isn't it ?) during the compile, we can imagine this software does the whole job by adding two small lines at each corner (cut marks just need one information, "x millimete...

Re: PDF with crop marks and bleed

Oh well, thanks Keith for your answer ! Maybe with the increasing amount of writers who self-publish you'll get some clues about this point. Anyway, many professionnal printers ask a PDF with cut marks and there are apps and websites that can flash PDFs to add them so, there's no urge. Oh, and, I'm ...

Re: Scriv placehodlers in LaTeX commands don't work ?

Damn, I solved it.
I just wrote my stuff in the Section prefix (Section Layouts), and not in the Compile Format "Text Layout" pane, and it works like magic !

Re: Scriv placehodlers in LaTeX commands don't work ?

This morning I tried to write only <$label> in the document prefix, and it appears it doesn't expand at all. Did I miss something about placeholders ?!
