Re: Color dot icons

That's entirely up to you. I like marking things that are done to visualize progress, hence the checkmarks. Arrows could indicate things you're actively working on.

Missing dashed lines for texts in ToC

Hi,

Has anyone seen this? Is it a bug or is it a setting that I missed?

There are multiple. What's consistent with all of them is that the titles are short, like 5-8 characters. I'd wager it's a bug.

Re: Propagation of style changes to all text using that style

Looking forward to it. Hopefully, it will make the whole user experience feel less clunky.

Propagation of style changes to all text using that style

It would be fantastic if styles in Scrivener worked liked styles in Pages, Word or Google Docs where style changes apply to all text using that style. Right now styles work like templates for text formatting. Editing a style will not propagate all those changes to all text using the style. That make...

Default back to body style when pressing enter after heading

This word processor behavior would be fantastic. I.e. when I type a heading and I press enter to have the next line use the default body style. Right now the editor keeps using the heading style and I have to manually set it to body. A small, but unnecessary, annoyance.

Decent-looking tables

I'm writing a scientific paper in Scrivener since I love the binder concept and the writing targets. But it's no end-solution to writing and I've been forced to use other applications several times. One thing that should work better is the table formatting. The table editing is clunky and buggy and ...

Re: Image sizing

What I need is the ability to scale vector graphics so that they don't always fill entire page width when printed. I don't want to have to rasterize them to accomplish that. I'm using the RTF/RTE editor, not Markdown. Right now I'm considering adding white space to the charts to force them to scale ...

Re: Image sizing

This thread is almost 6 years old. Has any effort been done to address this? Having to use raster graphics is not a solution.

Re: Color dot icons

Glad you like them. I made some more with checkmark and arrows as I needed them for my project.

Color dot icons

I wanted to organize my sections by color so I made these dots in Sketch.

Source file in the zip.

Enjoy!

Re: Sentence & readability analysis

When Scrivener gets AppleScript support, those of you who use Mac can write scripts to do all sorts of neat stuff. It would probably help address the majority of feature requests. LL just need to provide a place for people to upload and share scripts.

Change heading level when compiling MMD to HTML – how?

I've used the MMD to HTML exporter when I've compiled my project and I get frustrated with how it seems set to start at h1 instead of reserving h1 for the project title, using h2 and so on for folder titles et c. I guess you can argue the strictness or correct semantics of either from an HTML standa...
