Re: 026 where is the ruler?

Like I said, I could be wrong.

Thanks MimeticMouton, that's a really useful tip.

I have quite a few projects that I'd love to change the typeface on and I was resigned to leaving it as is.

Re: LEE'S UPDATE - BETA 026

Good Job Lee & Team! I've been using Scriv for what seems like forever and I keep forgetting it's still in "beta". The occasional glitch here and there but nothing major, at least from me. I've paid for "finished" apps that were nowhere near as stable as Scriv. Keep...

Re: 026 where is the ruler?

In the Format menu, select "Show Ruler" (Ctrl+Shift+R) In the Tools menu, select "Options". Then, select the "Editor" tab, (the fifth one). In the Default Main Text Attributes area, press the blue "A" and select Courier Final Draft. Don't forget to click the &...

Re: 10th MAY - LEE'S UPDATE - BETA 024 RELEASED

Just wanted to say that the new beta is very pretty, indeed :) Mostly cosmetic changes, but it's surprising how far little changes can go :) Thanks very much for all the hard work, Lee! Agreed. Cosmetic changes can be very important. I especially love the binder background colour now being closer t...

Re: 5th MARCH - LEE'S UPDATE

Sounds great Lee! Better a little late but perfect rather than trying to rush it out. The "binder responsiveness" sounds especially yummy. I've often found some slowish behaviour when moving things around in the binder but I never mentioned anything because I felt there were more pressing ...

Re: 28th MARCH - Reference Documentation

Oh, also maybe you should pick one variant of English and stick with it. I've seen British "-sation" and American "-zation" words throughout. They're both correct, obviously, depending on where you live, but not in the same document. (I've done this lots of times on submissions m...

Page 9 (of document - page number 3)

3. Eventually, you may begin to see an order emerging and repin the index cards accordingly.

Maybe repin should be written as re-pin?

Happy new year Lee!

The "zoom" functionality sounds great. I desperately need that, so I can stop using 18 point type for my tired old eyes!

Cheers,

Re: CURRENT BETA DOWNLOAD (RELEASE 1.5)

Excellent! Merry Christmas Lee! (p.s. a little nit-picking for when you get back :D ) On the "Help" Menu, there's a menu item that says: "Know Bugs in Beta 1.5" I think it should say: "Known Bugs in Beta 1.5" It's been like that for a while. I just got around to mention...

Re: CURRENT BETA DOWNLOAD (RELEASE 1.4)

Bit of a minor point but apparently the installer doesn't remove the Scrivener shortcut in the start menu. Luckily, the installer puts a new shortcut called "Scrivener Beta 1.4", which distinguishes it from the old shortcut (which is just called "Scrivener Beta"). But it really s...

Re: Text width on full screen view

Have you tried changing the full-screen settings at the bottom of the full-screen page? If you move your mouse down to the bottom, the following settings pop up: http://i54.tinypic.com/24gm1qb.jpg You can move the whole text block from the left to the center or right side of the screen if you want (...

Re: 29th NOV - LEE'S UPDATE

Awesome Lee!

I can do Greek localization, if needed. I assume the non-latin characters wouldn't be a problem with your text engine, as long as the user has proper typefaces installed?

Re: Automatic Indent

Yeah, it's one of the overall editor bugs that have been brought up. Indents don't stick for some reason but Lee has it on his radar and has been fixed in the next beta.

If I remember correctly, the next beta is coming real soon, as in late this weekend. :D
