Re: Smart Folders

collections were incorporated into 2.0 and very much take the place of smart folders; it wouldn't make sense to have both and collections were our preference. I wasn't hoping for both — essentially I was hoping that collections could be organised in additional ways. Having collections as an exclusi...

Re: Smart Folders

(Yes, quite aware that Scrivener is a "scrivening" app -- would have preferred to have my PIM and my writing integrated in one app, though, since personal info management is only an attendant circumstance of my writing/creating.) It is, at least, a relief to hear that in no uncertain terms...

I would love lov...

Re: Migrating from KJots to Scrivener

I have tried that flat file export, actually, but I had hoped to find a better way... : ) Edit: It doesn't have OPML export :( Below is what a kjots "book"(folder) looks like inside. This book has another book inside. The inner book has two pages, the outer book has one page. Unlike in scr...

Migrating from KJots to Scrivener

Hi! I'm really liking Scrivener, and now I'd like to use it as my primary notetaking app. I'm a former Linux user, and I have tons of notes and other text in KJots. So now I'd like to move all of my KJots data into Scrivener. Links: http://techhaze.com/2010/02/linux-app-kjots/ http://www.kde.org/app...

Re: (Not) Thinking About Dates

Hello, I only recently discovered this community and your Aeon project has driven me to register and make my first post! On to the topic: I would like to add something to the discussion about these fuzzy dates. I myself would prefer to work in a Relative mode -- I don't use absolute dates when creat...
