OK. A bit odd, though. Index cards can be auto-numbered. Seems there should be some way to auto-number the docs with which they are associated. Oh well. Thanks for the info.
I have a template that sequences numbers for elements of text in the editor using placeholders like <$N> and <$sn> for compiled documents. It would be useful to be able to see the actual numbers, though, in the editor panel while drafting the document. Any way to do this? If so, how? thanks.
Also, moving cards across stacks is tracked in the binder. Note in the pic below that moving the Beat P index card from the Library stack to the Boat Yard stack automatically moved it in the Binder as well.

Thanks, Keith. FWIW I stumbled across an interesting approach online that achieves most of what I wanted to do. It involves setting the corkboard to split screen and choosing a multiple stack selection in the bottom pane. See pic below. Screen Shot 2019-02-19 at 09.13.59.png The only hitch seems to ...
I've not been able to figure out how to open several card stacks in corkboard view in a way that includes the folder/container as the first card in the stack. I'm trying to layout stacks of character cards, locations, dramatic questions, plot points, and scenes as they are developed. I have folder/c...
That’s what I thought, too. And, yes, as far as I know he’s downloading the project folder exactly as it sits in his online DropBox account. But when he opens it — or rather tries to open it — something gets hosed and it tries to unzip the file and converts it to an “unopenable” scrivX file. Weird. ...
Thanks again, Lunk. I am aware that the .scriv project file is actually a folder. But still unclear why downloading a .scriv project folder directly from DropBox results in the folder being converted to .scrivX extension, while allowing the DropBox desktop app to perfom the same function would not. ...
I'm experiencing difficulty sending a scrivener project file from my mac to a collaborator using a mac via DropBox. I've saved the project to a shared DropBox subfolder on my desktop. That file syncs with DropBox online as a .scriv project and shows up on my collaborator's DropBox as a .scriv projec...
Hi Katherine. Thanks for the heads-up that Scrivo Pro's approach to direct Scrivener file editing is NOT supported by Lit & Lat. I've yet to encounter a problem, but that doesn't mean one is not lurking around the corner -- and it's always good to be advised of the risks. Also, thanks for the re...
I'm a user of Scrivo Pro on iPad and find it to be very useful as a means for editing and syncing projects with Scrivener on Mac via iCloud or DropBox. Scrivo Pro captures and retains the entire Binder-folder-document structure, allows complete two-way document editing and syncing (from Scrivener to...
Does anyone have recent experience with the IOS app StorySkeleton? I found a couple dated threads here that piqued my interest, but numerous inquiries to the developer's site over the past month have yet to produce the courtesy of a reply. Is this a supported app? How well does it play with Scrivene...
The recent IC v 4.0.3 update that was released on 9 November has completely resolved the first of three problems described in my two immediately prior posts. Text no longer disappears when attempting to edit Project and Card titles. A big thanks to Dennis. That leaves problems (2) CHANGES TO CARD CO...
