Why am I dredging up this one? An article and a conference on how a lack of handwriting does reduce reading comprehension scores even with keyboarding. General article: http://www.edweek.org/ew/articles/2012/01/25/18handwriting_ep.h31.html?tkn=TSCCONY7f8plNvHxIAjSVBjW8JDczcsw8GzJ&cmp=clp-sb-ascd...
Yes. Sorry. I am usually out beating the bushes, drumming up customers/wrimos. (I will be buying two more licenses for Xmas presents this year.) I have moved up the food chain over in NaNoland and have been beta-testing like a fiend. I have not been over here in Scrivenerland for MONTHS. I miss you ...

The issue is money. So we are having a special fundraiser to help pay for the server infrastructure in May. From ...
I keep a separate .scriv file for each short. In my research folder, I keep the synopsis/inquiry letters/submission track, etc. As the compile file is housed externally, I can call up a very specific compile that includes the idiosyncrasies of a particular submission target. Also have to confess that I put my desk in the corner where it is on purpose so I would get to look out of the window, the nice part about the area where we live is that there are some nice sunrises and sunsets, so it's pretty nice to see when you're day-dreaming ;) Great pictures! (My "office...
Apollo16, what do you think about online critique circle? Do you find the anonymity a plus or a minus? I started this online group with several friends from a previous in person group. I moved across country and my group didn't want to lose me as a member. So... although the make-up of the group ha...
I am in a couple critique circles (one in person and one online) and I am a board member of SouthWest Writers. They are very helpful to me but you have to shop around. I left one because it was all chat and I left another because no one was really doing anything beyond fan fic. Yuck. Good for teens ...
