Re: Version Conflict - resolve conflict inoperable

Update. Tried it a couple more times and eventually was able to progress. Suddenly the folder structure appeared and then I was able to click OK. No idea what I did differently but will report back if it happens again. Sounds to me like there was an Internet slowdown, either with your systems (rout...

Re: [Beta 23] Scrivener On-Screen Type can Look Great

But, to your main point on the screen. I strongly recommend to all my clients NOT to get 4k screens because they are likely to have some software in Windows that doesn't handle it right and it can be very frustrating. Older users want bigger text and when they get 4k monitors they have to run at 20...

Re: [Beta 23] Scrivener On-Screen Type can Look Great

One last note: If your text quality matters to you getting the best resolution for your screen your can afford helps. For writers, this should come before large SSDs/HDs, i7, or more RAM than 8GB. A better screen will improve your enjoyment of the machine more than many of the common marketing push...

Re: [LH1814] Preserving Revision colors in compile? How?

There is a partial fix in beta 23. If you paste colored icons into an article, those colors now appear in the proper color - I use green checks for good done, and red flags for possible problems. However, anything you write explaining the revision, shows in the revision color in the article, but not...

Attempting to confirm:

With Libre office pasting from a paragraph in Scrivener:
Headers, bold, italic, bullet lists all fail to copy into Libre Writer. I get plain text only.

Revision mode list colors

In revision mode, the numbers on a numbered list are black, instead of the color of the revision.

To reproduce:
1. enter revision mode
2. Add items to a numbered list.

Re: Sorting Columns in Outliner View

Imagine the Binder Structure: > Folder A > > File 1 > > File 2 > > File 3 If you select Folder A in the Binder, the items in the Outliner(File 1, File 2, File 3) will not be sortable. but if you select in the Binder - File 1, File 2, File 3, they will also appear in the Outliner as above, but this ...

Re: Sorting Columns in Outliner View

Tiho said, If you select only the root container sorting is not possible at the moment. Still if you select the your desired items in the Binder, sorting the Outliner columns is possible. Could you explain what you mean? I have a section, not the binder root. I have a column with names and another d...

Re: Bug erased all my saved pictures, help

Will the pictures show up inside Scrivener along with my notes? I'm not sure where you are putting your pictures, but in articles and research etc. you cannot tell the difference between linked images and inserted images. for example, here's a page from an article I'll post next month with two imag...

Re: Windows Beta 19-21 Crashing

I've noticed no problems. I work a lot on about 5 scrivener projects. Can't remember having any crash in a year. In out. writing exporting. dragging dropping. Doing lots of stuff. Have maintained latest Betas since about b10

Re: [RC1] Tutorial comments

Another very minor mistake in the tutorial: Under the section on quick reference it says: Go to Navigate > Quick Reference > Research > spacewalk_info Quick Reference should be Open Quick Reference. This caught me because I was looking for a first letter of Q Opening a couple of articles as quick re...

Re: b20 doesn't open after installer error

if I do not open the program as an administrator is a real question. But at least I know how to get Beta v20 up-and-running. Bit of a pain-in-the-tuchus but doable. Not so hard really. If you once right click on the shortcut or program and choose the compatibility tab, there is a run as administrat...

Re: Stuck on startup

I would switch out of "Reopen projects that were open on quit." - First option in options / Startup. See if the problem exists. Then if you have multiple projects, try to see which ones cause the problem. or if you ever get the problem with a new fresh small project that doesn't use any we...

Re: Error in update installer for v. 2.9.0.20

64 bit versions should be installed into Program Files.

I'd install b20 into ..program files/scrivener320 . Start out clean.
