In the third link: "I also do now plan to allow for labels between notes, too. So the next update should make some solid improvements in this area," from October 2013. Has that happened or is it still in progress, or on hold, or?
Hey, Keith...reading this thread, it occurs to me that in future versions a "compile to discrete .txt documents with binder tree filenames" preset might be nice. Wouldn't that be "export"? (It maintains the folder structure of your binder, too. Not the order, but the folders wit...
I poked at Scapple for a few minutes today on my commute, throwing some ideas for NaNo at the wall to see what sticks. I noticed that as notes are added, the boundary of the wall I'm throwing stuff at moves away when I add notes below or to the right, but if I add a note to the left it doesn't - in ...
Well I know one feature that's been requested for story timeline planning that would be also useful for project planning: event A is fixed at n days after event B; if either of them is moved, they both move.
Like Scrivener, you may be surprised at what you find people using your software for
I've manually entered repeating events to make sure I didn't have my characters miss something that was important to them, and also to let me keep the context of a regular event that I only show a couple of times in mind. For example, a main character visits his nieces and nephews every week without...
One was that not all the documents that I added a date to in Scrivener seem to have been synced to Aeon, although that may be a user error - I told Aeon to skip a lot of them when I didn't have dates for the documents on the first sync, then added dates a few days later, when I had added a whole pi...
Hi Matt, I've been playing around with the sync feature the last few days, and I've noticed a few glitches as well. One was that not all the documents that I added a date to in Scrivener seem to have been synced to Aeon, although that may be a user error - I told Aeon to skip a lot of them when I di...
If this is your first draft, I'd say finish the story then focus on making sure all of the story is there that needs to be there, before worrying about wordcount. After that, you can get rid of a lot of words in the line-by-line editing phase: it's not just about spelling and grammar. But I always p...
Hi Ioa, I did eventually figure that out, but my question was referring to the comment about explicitly using the mmd2tex-xslt script from mmd3 on an xslt that had worked in mmd2. I'm going to try to migrate my format over to mmd3 eventually, but it didn't do as described so I was wondering what oth...
Found the same "hiccup" on this end, but still haven't seen a full LaTeX file out of an .md file, or out of scrivener. Was there anything else you had to do to get the full LaTeX preamble etc? This is with an XSLT file that works just fine with MMD2 and its old mmd->xhtml->xslt->latex route.
Sorry for all the questions, but I need to be able to reproduce the problem before I can fix it. I understand completely. Give me a while and I'll try to reproduce it in a fresh project; if I can't I'll send you the one I'm working with. I'm on a MacBook Pro, system 10.6.7. I've been picking the co...
Even with full keyboard control the tab order seems a little off. (Inspector:) I clicked in title. The next two tabs select the next two dropdowns, but there's no visible indication of this. Then the dates arrow and the dates header separately, both of which do the same thing. Then the "AD"...
