Re: Bug deleted all of my pictures

Before you do anything drastic, try opening the file on another computer. I just so happen to be looking through the forum now because of the same problem. BUT... My main computer is a Windows 10 desktop, latest updates and all. I also have a laptop, same setup. I have directly copied my Scrivener s...

Re: Trash Crash

I found the other thread in the Beta forum and copy/pasted my original post inline there. If you are in a moderator position, I suppose this thread could be deleted.

Thanks.

Re: [LH3483] Scrivener crashed when deleting files from Trash

I'll add a post here that I originally put up in the wrong location. I found that when trying to empty trash, if I multi-select more than a certain amount of items Scrivener will crash every time. If I select an item which has sub-items, it's guaranteed. However, if I expand the main item, then mult...

Trash Crash

I found that when trying to empty trash, if I multi-select more than a certain amount of items Scrivener will crash every time. If I select an item which has sub-items, it's guaranteed. However, if I expand the main item, then multi-select the sub-items (without the main item selected), then I'm fin...

Feature Request

An issue I'm having seems to warrant a feature request, but there might already be an answer that I haven't been able to find. I've read what seems to be the pertinent area in the user guide, and I've searched both the Mac and Windows forums to no avail. Please let me know if there is an answer to t...

Re: Dark Mode Theme

I'm all for a dark mode. In fact, I've spent way too much writing time experimenting with darker colors in the UI today. No-go there though...somehow no matter what I've done it just looks a bit wonky compared to a true dark mode. But for me it's about 50% concerning the glare of the white elements ...

Duplication Problem!

If I try to duplicate any item in my binder, the action is crashing Scrivener for me. Well, crashing may be too strong a term. When I right-click-duplicate, Scrivener gives me the swirly icon and says "Not Responding" at the top of the window. This doesn't stop, or at least it hasn't for m...

Added Icons question...

Hi, everyone. How do I get a uniform icon experience across multiple devices? I've added in several icons while writing on my primary laptop. As an experiment, I saved my settings (File>Options>Manage>Save Preferences) and then loaded them into my desktop copy of Scrivener. The icons did not travel ...

Re: Two PCs, one Scrivener possible

If you mean "using Google Drive to sync your projects between PCs" by "it", then be very careful about how you make your changes. Any sync service will get the files between computers, but the reason most sync services aren't supported is that there are many different ways to go...

Re: Two PCs, one Scrivener possible

lunk wrote:"No" is the answer L&L has given numerous times. Google Drive doesn't operate in a way that works with Scrivener projects.

Thank you for that answer, but in the meanwhile I figured out a way to do it and it's working very well. Have a nice night.

Re: Two PCs, one Scrivener possible

Are there any plans for Scrivener to be compatible with Google Drive? I use OneDrive and Dropbox too, but GDrive is my primary by far.
