Re: How could I assign a shortcut to open / close the favorites window?

Yes, very strange that there is no way to use a shortcut for the favorites.

Many thanks for the tries!

Re: How could I assign a shortcut to open / close the favorites window?

a) If you look in Tools > Options, there should be a item called 'Keyboard' or something similar. If it is possible to assign a shortcut to the Favourites menu, then that's where it will be. But (unlike on the Mac), that possibility has to be hard coded into Scrivener, so if a particular feature is...

Re: How could I assign a shortcut to open / close the favorites window?

Thank you very much!

Very sorry for my bad expression.

I mean this:

When one opens Scrivener one each time has to open it again, that is very annoying, so a shortcut would be very good.

Re: Can Scrivener show the last opened projects somewhere else?

Isn’t that what you basically get when you right-click on the Scrivener icon in the Taskbar? Sorry, I do not know, I get this then: https://i.imgur.com/edfGP1Q.png It’s not in Scrivener, but… does it need to be when the OS provides this service right along the bottom of the screen? I am not sure, t...

Re: Can Scrivener show the last opened projects somewhere else?

Ah yes, sorry, now I understand. So there does not seem to be a method to do such in Scrivener.

Many thanks!

Re: Can Scrivener show the last opened projects somewhere else?

No no, no reason to say sorry. I think you can do something similar with a pinned icon in the Windows task bar… Yes, and with other programs, but the Task Bar is quite full. And I would like those icons / links to have seen only if Scrivener is open. Other than that, I've successfully saved a search...

Re: What is the newest version of Scrivener for Win?

Hello Jim, Alright, I do not use DropBox, so one reason more to use / try that option. Although it seems as if the´2 (or whatever) second save function (above) would be enough. Anyway, actually I would think this automatic save option (with 2 seconds enabled with me) should be enough. And thank you ...

Re: What is the newest version of Scrivener for Win?

No, I don’t think so. I think it refers to the way it’s been on Mac for a while, i.e. every time you stop writing for a few seconds the program automatically saves any changed files in the background. Such an option I have checked anyway (each 2 sec.): https://i.imgur.com/W6wF3Ph.png I never save m...

Re: What is the newest version of Scrivener for Win?

Many thanks for the link. Is there any drawback to enable that option: "Refinements and Changes These changes focus on making Scrivener more resilient and robust: We have introduced the safer Windows Scrivener 3.0 save mechanism as an option for saving Scrivener project files in version 1.9.9 (...
