Thanks Lunk - The subtitles are within the text of the chapters, they're not separate documents.

Hi All - My first compile :| My header and footer (Title and page No, resp) are getting overwritten by my text. If I set the margins to 1 in it's OK, but these look too big, so I wanted to go to 3/4 in instead. Can't find this in the manual... How do I get the header and footer to print out above (o...

How to keep subtitles and text together?

Hi All - I'm have subtitles for sections in my book (maybe ~60 places), and when I compile they are sometimes at the end of the page, then the related text starts on the next page. How can I get the subtitle and at least 1 or 2 lines of text to stay together? I don't want to insert page breaks every...

Lunk's reply doesn't make sense to me, but it works, so thanks! Finally I can have a preset that doesn't strip out my italics...
