iOS: Compile on iPad same as iMac

Sorry if this is a repeat. I would love to ditch my MacBook Pro and go iPad Pro. However, the Compiling method on iOS is very simplistic compared to MacOS. PDF compiles look different and no support for ePUB in iOS. I understand Scrivener for Windows is yet to finish, but I would love to read the wi...

Re: Import Format not working as expected

How is Scrivener supposed to know how to assign Section Layouts? I figure that is part of the information that was exported. If I have Chapter Heading section type set for Chapter Heading layout, Section section type set to Section Text layout, etc. in Project A, why isn't this information already ...

Import Format not working as expected

Trying to export/import project formats from Book 1 into Book 2. When I import, I see this yellow box saying "No layouts from this format have been assigned to any of the section types in the project yet..." Am I doing something wrong, or am I doing something wrong by expecting the layouts...

Re: Undeclared prefix: 'ibooks'. (ERROR)

Or you can enable the Omit “landmark” guides setting, in the Table of Contents compile option tab, which would I think more surgically remove the invalid element without potentially changing other aspects of the output? Results: Congratulations! No problems were found. Amber, Had a bit trying to fi...

ePub 3 -- separator between sections

Okay, I know how to go to Edit the format > Separators > select Section Text > Separator between sections > Custom. Now, I want three lines. Blank Line §§§ (option key-6) Blank Line Used Option-Return to put in the blank line (Actually, line return vs carraige return). Works in ePub 2 format. Doesn'...

Re: About Scrivener 3

Failing to stay out of the flame war that started, I gotta say that holding onto the past will only keep you from improving. This was felt by those who held onto their floppy disk PCs instead of moving on to CD-Rs (recordable CDs) or moving on from a removable disc and onto USB Drives. Granted, not...

Re: Please do not go subscription

For me, it wasn't the idea of a subscription for Ulysses -- I pay a subscription for Photoshop, Office, Apple Music, Netflix, HBO, etc. -- but rather the annual cost. $39.99, or ten dollars more for a new user, is the price of a major upgrade each year. Now, I've barely owned both Ulysses or Scriven...

Re: Changing Default Formatting

Yes, I went and bought Scrivener for Mac and for iOS. I understand that the app is "all about writing, and not a wysiwyg, desktop publishing, layout software". So is Ulysses, which is what I was using before I went and paid for Scrivener. All of the reviews say how Scrivener is the best ap...

Re: Changing Default Formatting

(jaw wide open)

So, what's the purpose of styles, or being able to "change default formatting" if I can't change it?

Re: Changing Default Formatting

But my question is how to change the presets. Am I merely changing the style of what the current style is?
How do I change Title, Heading and Body presets, or better yet, establish my own presets?
