Re: Congratulations Team L&L!

Well, to me this seems less like a discussion and more like an argument with a bunch of Obvionesque Adoring Fans, but that's just my opinion. In any case, I shall not be continuing it as I've said all I needed to. It seems that push back is not tolerated. And anyone who does push back is relegated ...

Just an update for future buyers of 3.0 for windows. My files are indeed unrecoverable, after opening a ticket and sending them to support they have confirmed this. My recommendation for anyone working professionally is to stick to 1.9 for the foreseeable, it works just as well and is tested over m...

Re: One way to promote your writing - Steven Pressfield

Pressfield can do this, because his work is already well known, and he already has a platform. The War of Art is a fantastic book and most artists/writers should read it, provided it doesn't become gospel for them. For the emerging writer, this video series strategy is just more time away from writ...

Re: Buying Scrivener on Mac - any difference between buying on website or in AppStore?

Didn't mean this to get derailed into a keyboard thread, sorry. Suffice to say, I have good reasons for needing a Hardware keyboard and the stickers/keytops/software solution causes other issues. Like I said, I used to do that thirty years ago and went hardware because it was the best solution. Goo...

How about something like this? https://kbcovers.com/dvorak-keyboard-cover/ Or, just a set of keyboard stickers? I realise you may have excellent reasons for avoiding thses solutions, but if so, I'm curious as to what they might be. (I knew a writer who wrote in Cyrillic on a Mac with the use of a k...

Check the Zengobi user forum. There are quite a few examples from teachers, scientists, deisgners, etc as they discuss their issues.

And it can be a circular issue, as well. Contributing to non-fiction books written by others, collaborating with other authors, and writing your own books can also be a way to establish your expertise in those topics. Thus the actual act of writing helps solidify your credentials. So thank you for ...

Why procrastination can help fuel creativity

A new reason to procrastinate and not feel guilty. 8) Excerpt: There's strong evidence that creative insights need time to percolate – and that the right amount of distraction may be key to innovation. If the history of creativity teaches us anything, it is that great ideas often come when we’re lea...
