How to change the font used for footnotes and comments?

I have one font for body text and somehow I have a different font for footnotes and comments. How do I change it so that when I make a comment or footnote it is the same as my body font or whatever font I want it to be? Couldn't find it in preferences.

Re: What are the best tools for annotating and then extracting notes from PDFs for academic writing

Skim is great if you’re primarily working on a Mac as it uses its own annotations that predate native support for PDF annotations on Mac OS X. I’ve used it since 2005 or so. There’s a command line tool and robust AppleScript support to automate note conversion, extracting of notes, etc. Lately I’ve...

Re: Convert Handwritten Text Into Digital on iPad

After spending the last 6-7 hours researching this it seems that all the handwriting to text software out there (including Notability ) licensed the engine from MyScript the makers of Nebo . So I figured that Nebo must be doing something right. For demos of what Nebo can do watch these short videos....

Convert Handwritten Text Into Digital on iPad

I have a tendency to brainstorm and take notes with pen and paper because it is much faster and can be done anywhere, I have load of such notes that I have carried across the world and back several times, some of which are getting hard to read because of the light colored ink used to make them. For ...

Some Odd Words with ISMO: "The One-derful Won" - Merriam-Webster

Why isn't 'one' spelled the way it sounds? In this video, Finnish comedian ISMO tries to tackle the complexities of English's most basic numbers.

Re: Document Scanner Recommendations?

The default setting is 250 DPI, but it can be increased to 300 DPI. I have been using the default setting, which seems sufficient for my needs. I have an old version of Acrobat Pro 10, which fortunately still works on Mojave. By way of experiment, I just scanned something and created a searchable P...

Re: Document Scanner Recommendations?

I actually bought a CZUR scanner (ET 16) after reading about it in one of the above posts, and I am reasonably happy with it. Scanning is fairly fast, and one feature that I find especially useful is that it can automatically convert a two-page scan into two separate pages. It can also produce OCRe...

Re: Document Scanner Recommendations?

Something like the CZUR range may have what you need. I think they have yet another version coming out soon. Here's an example: https://www.amazon.com/CZUR-Aura-Portable-Personal-Compatible/dp/B07MHLBSV6/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=czur&qid=1577444179&sr=8-4 Looks interesting, and portable enough t...

Re: Recommendations for a book scanner?

I have some bound issues of Railway Age magazine from the 1950s which I'd like to scan. They're printed on a non-standard oversize (9" by 12") page format and have 26 weekly issues in each volume...over 1000 pages; very hard to open flat. I've had some success with using the book scanner ...
