Re: New writing font for monospace lovers...

My current monospaced love is Cousine, available free at Font Squirrel ( https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/cousine ), my usual free font fix site. The really cool thing about the font, aside from the facts that it's free, and it lines up at 10 chrs/in in 12 pt, and 12 chrs/in in 10 pt. exactly Whi...

Link update

I know this is an old thread, but the information is still very good. If you're looking for the Monica McCarty case study link, it's move to:

Re: OPML or Scapple and Scrivener 3

These are great, thanks for the lead! The information is solid, and Brandon is a charismatic and engaging teacher. Im watching it as much for insights into good teaching practise as anything. As a bonus, the filming of the lectures is quite cinematic too. Ive finished the first three, and enjoying ...

Re: OPML or Scapple and Scrivener 3

I think you should have a room for the monitor of your choice and a room for a massive physical whiteboard too. You know, for when the mood takes you. :D Geoff I agree. You can never get too many monitors! Especially since Scrivener now supports multiple editors for notes, etc. Perhaps we could eve...

Re: OPML or Scapple and Scrivener 3

@Silverdragon, I'm a software developer as well. Maybe we should trade outlining approaches? I wouldn't be too hard on yourself for not leaning toward the design side of software development, because I'm pretty darn good at it and it hasn't helped me much at all. Sure, storycraft does seem to follow...

Re: OPML or Scapple and Scrivener 3

...So sometimes I just go rent a conference room with a massive whiteboard, tape index cards over it (that I've printed from Scrivener) draw lines and scribble in between, and take a photo of the whole blasphemous mess and stick it in Evernote. If Evernote goes out of business I'm ... in trouble. :...

Re: Changing the style of connecting lines

I'm struggling with this too. I would like to use a dark background with light background notes. But the color of links seems to be tied to the text color of notes. It's unfortunate, as this makes working with a dark background quite limited--you can't see links.

OPML or Scapple and Scrivener 3

I think I'm missing something simple... I have MindNode and I'm trying to get it to import to via OPML, what I would consider, the proper places in Scrivener. I would like the OPML notes to show up in the synopsis, not the document where it seems determined to put them. It also titles the document, ...

MindNode found a way to do update pricing!

Hi Guys, I know that L&L has been very frustrated by the Mac App store and it's limitations. For the record, me too. Today, I bought the new version of MindNode from the great folks over at IdeasOnCanvas. It's a cool app, but the most exciting part was I painlessly received update pricing for my...

Re: Ulysses ** Breaking News **

Whew! I came here out of the exact same concern. Thank you, thank you, thank you Literature and Latte for not trying to hold all our writing hostage to monthly tribute! I'm a user of both apps--revise that, I was a user of both Scrivener and Ulysses, but now I'm a Scrivener man! I was planning on su...
