Re: Scrivener not starting on Catalina

Hello folks,
I have installed Scrivener 3.1.5 temporarily on Mojave. However, I have not yet done the upgrade to Catalina for fear of bugs... Does this latest version work properly on Catalina?
Thanks for any hint.

Re: Assigning and/or change the cover image of e-pub

Thank you TromboneAI,
It is in fact a more "two or three steps matter" than a one pull and drop... It seems it finally will get to my old brain (without getting crazy, luckily).

P.S. How do you attribut colours to the files?

Cheers

Assigning and/or change the cover image of e-pub

Hello dear, I struggle for weeks trying to get my books as e-pub readings... and it's painful to me. I agree: I am a wysywig freak... At this stage, I finally got the pages to have the wanted (simple) look. Things are almost groovy. But the assigning of a cover is a real nightmare! Really painful, c...

Re: Dashes and hyphens

Minor point: You're right—Word and Scrivener (PCs and Macs in general, in fact), produce an em-dash automatically. But... if you press opt-minus you'll get an en-dash (–). You need shift-opt-minus for an em-dash (—). I think it's been mentioned above, but if you're going to have a space around the ...

Re: Get my line breaks and returns back

If I may, I'd have just another small question: how can I keep a regular cadratin* being correctly compiled, instead of having this "--" replacing it?

* em space (in english?)

Re: Get my line breaks and returns back

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Some of my older projects do respect the breaks, but I can't reproduce the benefit.
Imported format model - working fine on other project - gets neutralized when used on the "blocked" one...

Get my line breaks and returns back

Hello, Please help me with few hints. I'm going through terrible times with a harsh compiling problem: no line break comes out as typed in the text! So many tweaks I tried for hours, but nothing changes. Dialogues just stick on the same line. Only few line breaks (return tab) do jump to a next parag...

Re: Compile without line breaks?

Maybe my problem is giving a hint: Since few days all my compiles are WITHOUT BREAKS however I try to change my outputs! Can you imagine a book having all dialogs quenched into a unique paragraf block? This is what happens in my case. Scrivener has become, at this point, absolutely useless! Very puz...

Antidote dons't correct Scrivener anymore

Hello, Same thing happened on forlast upgrade: After upgrading Antidote and/or Scrivener to their latest versions, Scrivener looses its correction with Antidote. Last time, the problem magically disapeared after few weeks of having to copy-stick back and forth texts on Textedit. Will it be the same ...
