Re: Compile layout/ edit compile

I have, but I have to admit I was a bit overwhelmed, even after managing the right page breaks and everything. Still, I gave chapter 23 another go though, and figured out the following: - The title in the upper right corner is called the header. Under Compile > Page Settings > Header I could just er...

Compile layout/ edit compile

After struggling with it at first, compiling works great now! I've added a table of content as a first page and it automatically adds the correct page numbers! Although I can compile as a PDF-file, I choose a RTF first, so I can edit a little more. Just to dot the final i's and cross the last t's: I...

Re: Indents vary

I found a solution. Tools>Options>Editor only applies to NEW documents, just as it states at the top. That's why it didn't affect the indents in an existing document. It turns out it's a matter of simply going to a text with the correct indents, Format>Text>Copy Ruler, than moving to the text with t...

Indents vary

I mainly work with Scrivener for Windows, but occasionally I use the iOS version, when I'm on the road with my iPad. There seems to be a variation in indent size among the platforms. Last year the help desk confirmed this, as the iOS version uses 0,25 as a default, while Windows uses 0,50 as a defau...

Re: Can I add my Internet Explorer Favourites to my Research tab?

I’ve tried this and it sort of works. I’ve exported the favorite folder in IE about my research to a HTML-file, than I imported that into Scrivener, like you said. It shows a nice list, with full titles, and every link is presented as a hyperlink. It’s a bit strange though, sometimes clicking on a l...

Happy Scrivenings. :)

Ever so true, Robert :D
I’ve taken my sweet time, but after another misunderstanding, I’ve finally updated my profile.

Re: Change text that’s marked for comments

Indeed, it can be done. It’s a little harder, but once you get the hang of it, it works fine. Thanks, comvox

Re: Can I add my Internet Explorer Favourites to my Research tab?

Hi Amber,

Sorry that it has taken me this embarrassingly long to reply. I think I’ve already tried that, but I’ll give it another go. I’ll let you know if it works.

Kind regards,

List with check boxes in Scrivener

Hi, I try to keep as much of my novel in Scrivener, including research. However, since I can’t find an easy way to do check boxes I keep an Evernote folder on the side. Is there any news on making a list with check boxes in Scrivener? Obviously I can put X’s in front of a list or something, but chec...

Re: I don’t understand spell checking in iOS...

The problem seems to have gone after tapping the globe-button on my iPad Smart Keyboard, till the Dutch language is selected. P.S. Not really Scrivener related, but it caused some confusion: when you’ve added keyboards (languages) to iOS, they are represented in hardware keyboards. On the right of t...

Re: I don’t understand spell checking in iOS...

Without deliberately changing my settings, Scrivener on my iPad is spellchecking in English again. Since I write in Dutch every word I type is suddenly underlined once more. I remember this to be the case over a year ago, before I tried something with the keyboard settings in iOS (I’ve understood th...

Could adding an undo option in Scrivener for iOS be a new feature?
