I have been using Scrivener iOS since it first came out and I cannot find how to do this. My general view is that the app is extremely useful and convenient (since it works on iOS) but it does have its limitations. I have the OSX version on my laptop and sync through Dropbox. Whenever I have any sor...
I posted this on "bug hunt' 2 weeks ago but got no response. This problem is a major annoyance and I would be grateful if a member of the team could respond to it. When I search for a term or phrase (on iPadOS) I am getting a single spaced item for some results and a multiple spaced (6* ?) entr...
When I search for a term or phrase (on iPadOS) I am getting a single spaced item for some results and a multiple spaced (6* ?) entries for other items (in the same search results list). If I change the search, say by expanding the search phrase, documents which had been been multiple spaced in the l...
Hi Keith Thank you for the positive reply. I have around a thousand documents in my main Scrivener project and a moderately deep hierarchy but would still like to drill down to find a link target. I can see though that your proposal for an option makes sense with a multipurpose app. Look forward to ...
I find the iOS version of Scrivener extremely helpful in allowing me to make many changes without using my laptop. Obviously the version has inevitable limitations but there is just one limitation that I find frustrating - that when I want to create a new link, I am presented with a long unstructure...
Having posted this and returned to the project on which I normally work I found that the margins had reverted to normal. But on a project I had not accessed for a while the margins were very wide. Maybe this is a temporary problem after conversion to Scrivener 3, but it is still very odd.
Texts which took up most of the editing screen in Scrivener 2 now have roughly 2" left and right margins in Scrivener 3, reducing substantially the text visible on the screen of my 13" MacBook Pro (late 2011). I have checked the format settings but cannot find the reason for this - the lef...
Thank you for the advice - obviously it is a documentation issue not a bug now I have tried your advice. I appreciate that you are busy with preparing Scrivener 3 but if you cannot monitor the bug part of the forum, it would be helpful to have the purpose of the forum made clearer and the options cl...
I posted a report a month ago on problems with non functioning Scrivener links on iOS. Basically internal links do not work as they should - clicking on them does not move the focus to the appropriate document. All I get is a set of options including "open" but clicking that has no effect....
Since recently updating my iPad to iOS 11, Scrivener links which have worked for a long time have started to disappear. Most links still work but, without any pattern I can spot, clicking on some links causes the app to crash. When I check these out on my Mac, I get the message that the linked docum...
I have a similar problem now I have updated to iOS11 (though I can't be sure that I carried out the same action on iOS10). If I search for a word/ phrase which is in my project, that is fine. If I search for a term not there (and I have tested this with words I know are not present) the app crashes....
I find using bullets in Scrivener on my Mac relatively straightforward, but I cannot understand how to get consistent bullets in Scrivener iOS. There are apparently two formatting options - under the paint brush icon - selecting the "bullet" option or selecting "bulleted list". F...
I am having difficulties with understanding how the standard presets work. If I select a set of lines then use the drop down preset format icon to apply "bullet", sometimes I get a bulleted list and other times the font may change but nothing else happens. In the latter case, using the bul...
I am impressed by how much of the desktop version has been implemented in iOS but would value collections being at least visible (even if not editable on iOS). Has anyone found a workaround for this ?
