That's not a perfect solution, but it will work for now, I guess. Thank you.

Re: Regarding Labels

If you don't want any of your Labels color-coded, all you have to do is not enable Label color anywhere under the View menu > Use Label Color In. You can also choose to have it show some places and not others. If you mean you do have Label color enabled to show some places, but don't want it to sho...

Re: 7 Scriveners at once....how do you manage?

Before you get too invested in TotalSpaces, you should read their blog post here: https://blog.binaryage.com/sip-and-mojave/ It appears that you have to turn off some security features in recent versions of Mac OS, and if they continue to tighten things up, TotalSpaces may no longer be supported in...

Re: Passive Verbs?

You can break any "rule" you want, as long as you know what rule you're breaking, and why. Katherine Say I'm breaking it because I think adverbs read well, but that might not translate over to the readers and as a result my book doesn't sell. It's so difficult to gauge what should be a ru...

Re: Passive Verbs?

I've observed that concepts like, "Never use adverbs!" and "Never write in passive voice!" are for students who need to learn lessons that they won't unless given strict guidelines, where infractions against those guidelines risks a reduced grade. They're good exercises, but as ...

Passive Verbs?

I am wondering about your opinions regarding the total elimination of all passive verbs in place of active verbs? I am trying to do this, but sometimes after doing so, the sentences just don't feel or read right to me. Do any of you feel that there is a place in published fiction for some use of pas...

Numbers in Sections in the Binder

How do I turn the option on to show the number of documents inside a folder in the Binder. All of my other projects have it but this new project seems to not want to do it for some reason and I can't figure out what's going on. I've been through all of the options and have selected the "number ...

Transfering Folders/Files to New Project as a Template

I've put together some tables and miscellaneous files on my personal Scrivener project, but I'd like to give my daughter the same files, how would I go about taking these folders full of files/texts/other and copy them into their own separate template for her own use?

Changing Colors/Contrasts?

I'm visually impaired, so after a while, certain color combinations really start to hurt my eyes. So I am wondering can I change the color of the "paper" that you write on, from completely white to black, so that I can have the text white on a black background?

Re: Different Text Colors in Binder?

Have you tried using Labels for this? I’m not sure if that is what you mean by folder colours, but if not, try these settings: ⋅  View, Use Label Color In, Binder ⋅  In that same submenu, Show as Background Color in Binder . ⋅  You may want to increase the visual impac...

Different Text Colors in Binder?

Okay, so I've looked through the Scrivener preferences several times now and I can't seem to find an option that will make the folder title text different colors inside the Binder. For instance, say there's a folder labeled "A", and I have finished editing inside of folder "A", (...

Re: The Inspector? A Detailed Explanation Please.

Note you can switch between Project and Document Bookmarks with the Command 6 shortcut, which will be easier than operating the small control. Bookmarks are very useful! You mentioned duplicating sections, to have a separate copy for old revisions. Here is a trick: you can drag the new copy into th...
