I have returned to using Scrivener after a long absence and I encountered a problem I never met before : in the pdf output of my work, whenever there is a new paragraph opening a page, the first line is ***. It does not happen in the .docx output. So I found a way around : to export as a pdf the Wor...
Yes, I had in mind synchronising with iOS devices and of course, I don't have the technological knowledge to know if it is possible, which is why I made the suggestion to inquire about the possibiliy.
Would it be possible to add pCloud as a choice for synchronisation? Dropbox is increasingly restrictive and it seems that pCloud performances match those of Dropbox and it would be worth to see if it can be compatible with Scrivener use. Thanks in advance. Olivier
I am in the last stages of proofing the final version of my book, both on epub and in pdf in the paperback format, and I am about to send the revised version for publication. But I just noticed something quite strange on the pdf version: one of the last pages (Acknowledgements), which is a separate ...
In the project I am currently working on, I am unable to activate the typewriter scrolling mode, as it remains greyed in the menu (whether the proper menu or the icon in the toolbar). It did not happen in my previous projects. Is there something I am missing there, some action I should've taken prio...
Many thanks, Keith, for the tip. As I said earlier, it is not a real problem as long as in the final document (the output), it is properly numbered, which is the case. O.
Sorry, I should have mentioned it: even after compiling the text, no number appears, contrary to what used to be the case in Scrivener 2. It isn't a huge problem, but I don't understand why it is so when, normally, these numbers should be apparent after each compile.
Word can do that. But Scrivener can also restart numbering on each new page. What I haven't found (yet?) is how, in Scrivener, restart the numbering for each chapter/section. But, yes, I can do it manually in Word. Thanks for your time.
