Re: Sync with pCloud

Yes, I had in mind synchronising with iOS devices and of course, I don't have the technological knowledge to know if it is possible, which is why I made the suggestion to inquire about the possibiliy.

Sync with pCloud

Would it be possible to add pCloud as a choice for synchronisation? Dropbox is increasingly restrictive and it seems that pCloud performances match those of Dropbox and it would be worth to see if it can be compatible with Scrivener use.
Thanks in advance.

One page is not numbered

I am in the last stages of proofing the final version of my book, both on epub and in pdf in the paperback format, and I am about to send the revised version for publication. But I just noticed something quite strange on the pdf version: one of the last pages (Acknowledgements), which is a separate ...

Typerwriter mode

In the project I am currently working on, I am unable to activate the typewriter scrolling mode, as it remains greyed in the menu (whether the proper menu or the icon in the toolbar). It did not happen in my previous projects. Is there something I am missing there, some action I should've taken prio...

Re: Footnotes numbers in the inspector

Many thanks, Keith, for the tip.
As I said earlier, it is not a real problem as long as in the final document (the output), it is properly numbered, which is the case.

Re: Footnotes numbers in the inspector

Actually no, you're right: in previous projects (written with S3), the numbers are there.

Re: Footnotes numbering

Thank you, Keith.

Actually, I just tried and if I export on pdf, the numbering restarts at each section, but on Word, it restarts on each page!

Re: Footnotes numbers in the inspector

Sorry, I should have mentioned it: even after compiling the text, no number appears, contrary to what used to be the case in Scrivener 2. It isn't a huge problem, but I don't understand why it is so when, normally, these numbers should be apparent after each compile.

Re: Footnotes numbering

Word can do that. But Scrivener can also restart numbering on each new page. What I haven't found (yet?) is how, in Scrivener, restart the numbering for each chapter/section. But, yes, I can do it manually in Word.
Thanks for your time.

Re: Footnotes numbering

No, sorry. I thought the option was in Scrivener.
I'm using Word 2016 for Mac and I know the option exists, but I would have to create manually sections in the Word document after compiling but I thought it would be great if it could be made in Scrivener itself.

Re: Footnotes numbering

Many thanks. It looks that the only two possibilities are a continuous numbering from 1 to the end of the book or restarting the numbering on every page, but not restarting the numbering for each chapter...
