UPDATE! I'm dumb and L&L is A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

Turns out I'd been sitting on a link to buy Scapple from their old partner, eSellrate. I've been using my iPad Pro as my main computer since Scrivener came out on iOS, and as such, I'd been waiting to get Scapple until they came out with an iOS version. In that interim, I've been using Mindnode and ...

Bought Scapple, haven't received it.

Is this a normal process? I bought Scapple, they said they'd send the activation key or whatever within 48 hours. It's been 12 days now with no response.

Has anyone else had an issue like this? Can anyone at L&L HQ help me out?

Re: Auto-completion of script elements: pop-up persists

I use Scrivener for comic book scriptwriting, and I too come across this bug frequently. Really breaks the flow!

Re: iPhone XR

Second everything here. Seems like it's just waiting for an update to Scrivener iOS, as there are a lot of apps that need to be tweaked for the XR. A lot of apps display as if they're on a smaller screen, just scaled up for the XR display, and I assume that over the next couple months we'll see a lo...

Scratch Pad App

I love the scratch pad but never use it since I work equally between my mac and iOS devices. I currently take notes in iaWriter or Bear, and then transfer those notes to Scrivener projects. I'd love to not have my thoughts spread out across so many apps, and I have a thought as to how to fix it. The...

Re: Scratch Pad on iOS or alternative workaround?

The ideal solution to this, for me, would be a standalone "Scrivener Scratch Pad" app that is cross platform between macOS, iOS, and watchOS. Just a tiny notetaking app that synchs with Scrivener, allowing notes to be tagged/linked to specific projects. I use Bear to take notes on my Apple...

Independent resizing of screens in iOS

Howdy there, much love and appreciation for the hard work you do, KB! I do a lot of work in the iOS version of Scrivener, mostly scriptwriting, often with a page of notes open in the quickreference pane on the left. It would be hugely beneficial if the pinch-to-resize feature allowed the quickrefere...

Re: Scrivener on IOS Crashing repeatedly

I'm tutoring a fellow on Scrivener iOS and he was running into this problem. Disabling the auto-update worked for us. AmberV, if you have any updates on when that Dropbox API update rolls on through, please do let us know. It'll be nice to turn that button back on and see if it works. Fingers crosse...

Re: (Comic) Scriptwriting Discussion Thread

Anyone interested in using Workflow to open .zip files or just automate all sorts of handy things (like getting the word count of highlighted text) should know that it's free right now. Grab it if you don't have it! An indispensible tool for iOS. Workflow: Powerful Automation Made Simple by DeskConn...

Re: ocasiOS Comic Scriptwriting Template

This is my method for opening the file from iOS directly into iOScrivener. If you have another way, please share it! Assuming you have a desktop computer it shouldn't be an issue whatsoever, but it is possible to import it solely within iOS. Here's how: It is actually super easy to unzip a file on i...

ocasiOS Comic Scriptwriting Template

Howdy there fellow paneljockeys, At long last I have finalized an entirely iOS-friendly template for writing and exporting comic scripts on iOScrivener. I've attached it below. Any thoughts, suggestions, or concerns would be most appreciated. Please post below if you have anything to say about the t...

Re: (Comic) Scriptwriting Discussion Thread

I am about to post a new thread with the updated and more-or-less final draft of the template. There is no way to post the .scriv file here or elsewhere online, so it has to be in a .zip file. OlsonBW and anyone else finding this an issue, refer to this thread for a discussion of why this is the cas...

Re: (Comic) Scriptwriting Discussion Thread

Hey OlsonBW, apparently there isn't a way to post the .scriv file here. For details on why, see the thread I started called "Sharing Project Templates." I'm trying to find a workaround, but until then, you will just need to unzip the file. I use Workflow to unzip mine, but there are a few ...

Re: Sharing Project Templates

Thanks for the thoughtful reply, AmberV. Definitely made a lot of things I've been trying make more sense. Does that mean there is no way to easily share a Scrivener file without a desktop computer? The only way I've been able to do it is to run a Workflow extension on a zipped Scrivener file which ...
