Re: 2-way sync between Mac Finder folders and Scrivener research folders?

Ok thanks Amber.

Are there any Mac utilities like Alfred or Hazel or file syncing utilities that can do this sort of thing?

Thanks,
Jeff

2-way sync between Mac Finder folders and Scrivener research folders?

Hi,

Is there a way to sync them so that when I add a file to one it's added to its counterpart folder automagically?

Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Papyrus Autor

I got a reply from Ulli Ramps at R.O.M. Logicware, the makers of Papyrus and they are working on an English translation now that he said is 'coming soon' so thought I would pass on the good news.

Re: Papyrus Autor

Thanks for passing that along Timotheus. For those of us who *can't* read German what are the highlights? And is there going to be an English version? I emailed them thru the Papyrus website after the book fair last week and naturally haven't gotten a reply from them. I have yet to get a reply to an...

Re: New poll: What's your favorite word processor?

Hi Jeff, Hi Sascha, What do you mean by Papyrus's clipboard and 'mummify' function? Jeff Papyrus has a clipboard next to the text window where you can drag text snippets to, for future use and the like. Or put down notes. http://www.papyrus.de/pap_pics/Mac08_snap.png (the thingy on the right.) Also...

Re: What is your favorite word processor to use with Scrivener?

Everything after the first draft I do with Papyrus , a German text processor and the only one with a spellchecker that really works. I've been intrigued by Papyrus and have played with it. Have you ever used it's built-in relational database? If so, how is it? Seems made-to-order for variable data ...

Re: Poll: What is your favorite website creation tool?

In the list, I miss the probably most widely used website creation tool: Joomla! I was checking out the Joomla site and was impressed that Harvard University, the U.N., and Citibank all use it for their sites. And it's free open source! What are the tools like on a Mac and does it produce standards...

What do you mean they won't let you post? They deny you access to the forum?

Re: New poll: What's your favorite word processor?

Interesting that you put InDesign in the same category of dislike as Word. It seems that ever since the bean counters have taken the reins from the original innovative founders at Adobe that they seem to be more like MS all the time. They just came out with CS4 today which now includes three version...

Re: Poll: What is your favorite website creation tool?

Heh. My "generation" isn't even represented in this list. I create, maintain, and develop applications for web pages as my "money job" and I wouldn't touch a site with anything other than a raw text editor. Sorry 'bout that Amber! As you know, the poll tool has a limit of 10 ite...

Re: Poll: What is your favorite website creation tool?

It seems to me there are roughly three generations of website creation tools on the Mac: If the 1st generation was text editors requiring coding skills, like SubEthaEdit, CSSEdit, Coda, BBEdit, Taco HTML Edit and the like; and the 2nd generation was the now Carbon WYSIWYG graphics apps like Dreamwea...
