I feel your pain. I too have suffered from this bug. You can read my post here - http://literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34708. From what I can gather, it seems to be based on the fact that Scrivner for Windows is not a native Windows application but rather a Qt (it's a C++ plat...

Re: text disappears

I have been frustrated with this problem throughout all past versions of Scrivener. It drives me nuts! As I understand it, it is caused by problems in the cross-platform framework that Scrivener uses and that until Scrivener migrates to a native Windows version (promised for V3) this problem will pe...

Re: Scrivener Needs Urgent Updates

Just returning to the thread I started. That this thread is still continuing, seems to be testament to the frustration and disappointment many Windows users are experiencing. Re: Scrivener Needs Urgent Updates

I didn't want this thread to turn into a personal slagging match. For the record, I have no stake in Papyrus Author. I just used it as an example of alternatives to Scrivener. How about I say Final Draft, yWriter, Storyist to even the score. Similarly, I am not a hater of Scrivener. I have used it n...

Scrivener Needs Urgent Updates

I have been using Scrivener for the past two years and it mostly does the job. However, the known (and often acknowledged) bugs from the October 2015 update still irk and annoy countless Scrivener users. The forums are still full of troubleshooting questions and complaints. I have experienced the lo...
