Re: [LH4050][LH4233] Continued problems with Lists / Bullets - moving up/down and changing indent [RC1]

The following List-related items are still broken in Beta 43: 1) CTRL-ALT-Up Arrow (or Down Arrow) - moves select line up or down respectively in the list, but inserts a blank line in the process . The wonkiness gets more wonky as you continue to move bullets around like this. Blank spaces, weird hi...

Re: [LH4050] Continued problems with Lists / Bullets - moving up/down and changing indent [RC1]

About 4) Tab and Shift-Tab indent only when cursor is at the beginning of the list item. This is expected functionality and Word and Scrivener for Mac work the same. CTRL-ALT-Left/Right in a list item has been fixed and will be available in the next release. CTRL-ALT-Up/Down in a list item is uncha...

Re: [LH4050] Continued problems with Lists / Bullets - moving up/down and changing indent [RC1]

I was excited to see that Beta 33 lists "Bullet list refinements" as one of the items addressed. :D Unfortunately, the issues I'm having--originally reported in August in this thread--persist: 1) CTRL-ALT-Right Arrow moves text to the right, but not the bullet. 2) CTRL-ALT-Left Arrow will ...

[B26] "Choose Backup Folder" dialog on first launch - text doesn't fit

When you first launch Scrivener, the "Choose Backup Folder" dialog does not leave adequate room to read the selected folder name if the path is too long. Screenshot below.

Re: [LH4050] Continued problems with Lists / Bullets - moving up/down and changing indent [RC1]

MM, Thanks so much for the helpful reply, and putting this "Move commands when a cursor is in a list" on the feature suggestion docket. Microsoft Word's multi-level outline keyboard commands work swimmingly like this (SHIFT+ALT+ Arrow Keys), and it would be great for this feature to work s...

Re: Continued problems with Lists / Bullets - moving up/down and changing indent

I"m confirming, once again, that the above problem with Lists is occurring in the latest beta (v. 24). This is the fourth successive beta for which I've reported this problem without it being assigned a case number, or even receiving an acknowledgement from L&L. Is there some reason for thi...

Re: Continued problems with Lists / Bullets - moving up/down and changing indent [RC1]

Reporting this issue continues with Beta 23. I've noticed that this post has not been assigned a case number even though this has been present in three successive betas. Is there a reason why?

Thanks for your continued work on Scriv 3 for Windows.

BUG (Beta 23) - Acrobat Distiller error at end of update process

I used the built-in update functionality of Scrivener to update my Beta 22 version to Beta 23. At the end of the update, I received a dialog box with the following error message: Window Title: Acrobat Distiller Window Text: Distiller cannot find its standard ICC profiles. Please reinstall Adobe Acro...

I've also listed other problems with lists and bullets that continue with RC2 / Beta 22 here:

[LH4050][LH4233] Continued problems with Lists / Bullets - moving up/down and changing indent [RC1]

There are many problems still with the Lists / Bullets feature. For now, let me mention a couple: 1) CTRL-ALT-Right Arrow moves text to the right, but not the bullet 2) CTRL-ALT-Left Arrow will move the text and the bullet, but the bullet format remains the same (it won't transform to the bullet sty...

Re: What's the difference between those two?

"Save Options to File for Theme" will save only the Theme related options. Useful to users who want to extend the Scrivener Themes. "Save Theme to File..." will save the current Theme and the current Options + Colors into a new file. A Theme must be loaded. This is useful when y...

Re: [LH3900] "Files were recovered" error message even though files are trashed and trash emptied [RC1]

Thanks, xiamenese, for the idea on Dropbox. Unfortnately, the problem was still occuring even though I had never re-enabled Dropbox Sync, so that wasn't it. I appreciate the idea, though! Thanks, Tiho_D, for tracking down this bug and slating it to be fixed in RC2. Appreciate the great help...can't ...

[LH3900] "Files were recovered" error message even though files are trashed and trash emptied [RC1]

This one is a bit hard to explain. I added a large video to the Research folder of my project and then realized that the video was saved in the project rather than just a link to the file. I therefore deleted the video (moved to trash and then emptied trash) and saved the project. When I closed the ...
