Re: What does iOS 13 mean for Scrivener iOS and iCloud Sync?

Well I stand by my earlier post - that much is certain.

Re: What does iOS 13 mean for Scrivener iOS and iCloud Sync?

The enhancements to the Files app and the debundling of iTunes will make it easier for people who don’t want to sync with Dropbox to manage files manually.

Re: Viewing Skim highlights & notes?

DT's support for Skim is probably because they both predate native PDF annotation on Mac OS X (Leopard maybe? I forget....). DT now supports both native and Skim annotations but there's no way in DT itself to tell which are which, short of opening the PDF in Skim and seeing if they are still there. ...

Re: DEVONthink 3 (beta)

I had never used DT 2, in part because of the antiquated UI but also because of the attitude of the support staff to anyone who dared to mention any issues with it. But I've been using the DT 3 beta for a few weeks and quite like it, esp. in combination with DTTG. Unfortunately their attitude to use...

I’d look at this thread - viewtopic.php?t=50366

and consider dedicated QDA software if your budget allows it.

Re: beginner to MMD and LaTeX: looking for advice for incorporating into existing Scrivener 3/Papers 3 academic workflow

Are you in a field where you require LaTeX ? If not, I’d avoid it if you don’t want to invest the time. If so, then you’re best off really learning it, Ideally through an institutional class or the like, Here are the materials that accompany the classes at my institution - hopefully something simila...

Re: Dropbox introduces three-device limit on free accounts

Nevertheless, it would be great if this prompted a new look at sync. If iCloud remains impractical, there are many other cloud sync providers (GoogleDrive, Box, Microsoft, Amazon, to name a few) and it would be great if Scrivener supported at least one additional option. Yes, I agree. It seems this...
