Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

It's mid Feb 2020 and problem persists on my new ipad running v 13.3.1, with fresh Scrivener install. Note: on first use, with no Scrivener projects in the Scrivener app, instead of the box asking where to sync when I tap the sync circle, the downloading file list runs 40 seconds then shuts down Scr...

Label colors in Binder Scrivener 3

Is there a way to set the folder and text document label colors so the entire bar in the binder is colored, instead of just the dot on the right?

i found the coloring of the entire bar to be invaluable for some of my projects, and hope that feature wasn't killed.

Re: Compiling chapters to word: Chapter titles don't appear

Katherine, Thanks for the reply. I need to clarify and provide more details: I'm using Scrivener for PC version: 1.9.7.0 I ticked pretty much everything trying to get it to output a Word .docx with chapter headings and the scenes. Each chapter is a folder labelled Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc.; inside ...

Compiling chapters to word: Chapter titles don't appear

I compiled five chapters to word, ticking only the chapter folders and each included scene to Word docx and while the scenes appear, with space between them, the chapter titles do not show up.

What an I missing?

Thanks.

Re: Save to/Backup to > Multiple locations at the same time

I believe the intent of this original post was to suggest that adding a multiple save location option would be useful. I'd certainly use it. Save to: Dropbox/My Scrivener Projects : C/Writing/My Scrivener Projects :G/My Scrivener Projects Yes, sure, there are manual ways and external software backup...

Re: Kindle TOC includes "Title Page" in the list - why?

Because there is no answer. TOC is an ongoing glitch with Scrivener (at least the PC version). Not only does there seem to be no way to eliminate the scene title from tbe TOC without that scene butting against whatever comes on the preceding page, but Scrivener auto-generates a TOC and slaps it up f...

Scene (notes) titles appearing in TOC

I have a short story broken into four scenes, each scene in a separate text file under the Chapter folder immediately under the main Manuscript folder. I did this so that each scene would be followed by four tilde characters (~~~~), generated by the Separators element -- a scene break indicators. My...

Re: Creating PDF book with navigable table of contents

I read all that. what I thought Scrivener could do is ourput a PDF book that people could open in Acrobat and navigate through via the TOC. My searching seems to indicate that it can not.

Creating PDF book with navigable table of contents

Can Scrivener create a PDF file whose table of contents (TOC) is navigable? For example, clicking "Chapter 3" takes reader to Chapter 3? I tried to export as PDF and it creates TOC as text only (no hyperlinks). The same project file produces navigable TOC on epub and mobi files just fine. ...
