Re: Saving a web page as a pdf to Scrivener in iOS 13

I used to do it via the print command, and I find it was better because it already gave the PDF the right title coming into Scrivener. You go to the print dialog, then you pinch in on the preview of the page, and if you go to the share sheet from there, you can also send to Scrivener (unless this al...

Are you logged in with the same Apple ID for your store account on the iPad and the iPhone? They are the same version, if you bought it for the iPhone (with the same Apple ID of course), you should be able to download it for the iPad.

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

Just to let everyone know that although it isn’t officially supported, unlike in iOS12, with iOS 13 I succeed in downloading full Scrivener files from iCloud Drive through the Files app, open them on the iPad/iPhone (copy to on my iPad) and afterwards copying back to iCloud Drive. With iOS 12 it wou...

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

With that said, I personally think that if you're hauling 10 GB projects around you'll be a lot happier with a Macbook Pro than with any form of iPad. Mac OS remains a much more capable platform. With Scrivener 2 and older hardware (at the time, iPhone 6 and iPad Air) those 10GB projects ran perfec...

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

I still have to check if with iOS 13 I can reliably copy Scrivener Projects manually from iCloud Drive through the Files App (I've had very quick and reliable syncs with iCloud Drive these days, and I have all my documents on there since I've replaced a my Macbook Air with an iPad Pro) back and for...

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

I don't have subfolders in my Scrivener folder and I still can't sync. In fact, I only have one folder anymore in my Dropbox, because I want to get away from Dropbox for some reasons, and it's my Scrivener folder with only my active projects. I have about 10 projects active, unfortunately they are q...

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

Why didn’t you tell iPad Scrivener to look in the correct folder? Edit -> Gear wheel -> Dropbox settings Damn I feel stupid now. I knew there was a way, but I was searching through the Settings App, and went to the question mark, etc. Don’t know why I missed. I’ll update to let know if sync worked....

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

So quick background: I have an iMac, an iPhone 8 Plus and an iPad Pro 11" connected to Dropbox. A while ago I made changes to 2 Scrivener Projects on the iPad Pro, but when wanting to sync, it always crashed. So, not wanting to mix up the system any further, I didn't touch these projects from t...

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

As my husband put it, wait to install until the release numbers quit spinning. This is what, three updates in about a week? Is L&L checking though what is causing this bug? Or what it possibly is? I haven’t heard from the developers and I understand if it’s difficult to give answers or solution...

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

So perhaps there is indeed something in the theory that the bug is hardware related, and that that shows according to the age of the hardware... But a third generation iPadPro from November last year is hardly "old" hardware, is it? It’s the opposite of what you would expect: it seems new...

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

I don't want to add fuel to the fire, as I'm guessing the developers are probably busy seeing what is causing this bug and I guess nothing in iCloud changed enough to make Scrivener-syncing possible. But it is funny that I had a project with changes that I made on the iPad, that I couldn't get synce...

Re: Commitment & responsibility...

As a user of the Mac version, I respect the frustration of people waiting for their Windows V3. As long as they do it respectfully, it's fine. I think Keith put out a beautiful response in this thread, kudos for that. I just posted to say to the people being dissapointed with the missing deadlines: ...

Re: Saving something to Research folder on iOS?

I always put PDF's of webpages in my projects (both on Mac and iOS). There are multiple ways to do this. The one I use most is, if you want to have the correct name of the webpage added automatically to the PDF: 1. First open Scrivener and go to the Project and folder where you want the Research to ...
