Never Mind.... I follow the directions on the compatibility mode and it worked...I had tried it before and it didn't, Maybe it was the way I did it this time ??? But anyhoo....It's up to date and working...
Since I can't get 1.9.7. to work on my computer the only version I have is 1.9.0 which works.. I would like to try other versions up to 1.9.7 to see if I can get something newer than 1.9.0
No they haven't.....and no they don't care...Move on to another software or just use 1.9.0 like me... I guess more people have no problem than people who do so we aren't a priority... THe last I heard is that the issue is with us/our computers and not the software so it's our problem..
Oh Boy this is still going on ??? I would figure you would bail on the across the board OS compatibility ....Since this is when the problem started.. Wouldn't that be the smart thing to do until you get a grasp on the problem ? We paid for a product that works and is upgraded.....You are not fulfill...
I gave up.....after management laid the blame on us/are computers.. I moved everything over to Quoll Writer(free) and if that doesn't satisfy..I'll go to another freebie Ywriter5 or 6 Sure I could use 1.9.0 but I paid for this product and all it's updates.. Not a happy camper here!!
Sorry guys, try the ScrivenerLog.bat file from within the installation folder. Run it as Administrator, if you have installed inside the Program Files directory. If nothing from the log file helps you trace the problem, try to create a process explorer log file for the Scrivener executable and forw...
