Yes IOS 11 works fine and still syncs using Dropbox

This is just a suggestion… I am not a big follower of forums really… I’m usually out back with my Ipad, staring into the woods and writing. I rarely come to this tech support section because I have never had an issue with Scrivener not working. Well maybe once a few years ago for some piddly little ...

Re: Scrivener cant be installed on Ubuntu 16.10

Though if this missing file has been ditched permanently, eventually Scrivener is going to stop working anyway. Always a possibility with a discontinued development, but I'll be very sad. Scrivener has been a mainstay of my process for so long I'm not sure how I'll cope without O.O Have you conside...

Re: Best screen size?

Just wanted to thank all of you for the ideas and advice. I visited Bestbuy today... they had a sale. Went with the 9.7 pro with 32gb at $100 off. Then I discovered accessories. I felt a bit queezy driving home. First thing I did after setting it up was get the new Scrivener. It's beautiful... the s...

Best screen size?

Don’t know a thing about Apple but an actual tablet centric Scrivener sounds really nice. 12.9 seems silly big, 9.7 is close to my Android tablets which I love, and the 7.9 seems a tad tiny for my tired eyes. So I’m wondering what you folks who are using the new Scrivener on Ipads think about the mo...

Re: Who want a Linux release version?

I would like an official Scrivener for Linux.. and an Android version as well.. I understand it isn't likely to happen any time soon. I have the Linux version installed as well as the Windows version under Wine. I go back and forth between the two and I have not found how they differ. I copied my Wi...

Re: Linux 1.9.01 Beta Released

I had forgotten about Scapple and I do have the paid Windows version. I gave it up when I left the Windows world though and found that I could not drag and drop images into it when running under Wine. I use Scrivener every day via Wine on my Linux Mint desktop, but I switched to another mind map whe...

Page number has gray background color

Hi there, I'm trying to compile based on specific submission requirements like this: Upper left corner: title / author Upper right corner: page number So what I have done is insert this in the Header on the compile screen. <$fullname> / <$projecttitle> (spaces inserted to push page number into posit...

Re: Who want a Linux release version?

I'd buy Scrivener for Linux.. even though it works pretty well under Wine. I'd just rather have a Linux version. Personally, I found Linux Mint Cinnamon to be more than ready for prime time. The installation was simplistic and brief.. It would take someone prone to confusion to be challenged by it a...
