Scrivener only works untill 16.04 LTS version : viewtopic.php?f=33&t=36492

We have a year ton find a new solution.

Technical is that wine adds another layer needing resources and having its bugs and glitches, political is that if I buy the windows version it would be "sales for windows version", not showing that there is a dedicated linux user using the program. That's all, folks! I'll never add a lay...

But it works for output to .doc and .rtf, but not to .pdf or .odt...

Just count us : how many are we to want a Linux release version and are ready to pay for it? Not to be a pessimist here, but if you're L&L, how do you actually trust that? I'm sure they've seen examples (as have we all) of people pledging up and down to pay for something and yet not do it once ...
