Re: Scrivener Backup

Thank you very much for your reply! The main thing you want are your active projects, which sound to be located in the Dropbox folder, so make sure they are included. That's correct. I'll then have a backup of what's in Dropbox in case there's a problem with Dropbox, right? The third thing you might...

Scrivener Backup

Hi I'm trying to make a CrashPlan-like backup on my private cloud (Transporter). I'd like to know which files should be backed so that they can be retrieved in case of complete loss or destruction of my Mac. Please note I'm using Scrivener with Dropbox, I therefore have set Scrivener to export my pr...

Can't see the Binder after I stopped syncing

Hi Subject: Can't see the Binder after I stopped syncing with External Folder I was syncing my Scrivener project with Notebooks app, it worked fine but i decided to stop syncing at all. For that purpose, I deleted "updated documents" on Scrivener for Mac (Mavericks 10.9.2). Problem is now ...

Re: Simple Markdown Questions

Hi again, Is my question not appropriate? Is it stupid? Too basic? I'll therefore try to make it simpler; basically, my previous post is asking for 2 things: 1. Am I missing something when saying Markdown syntax doesn't seem to allow us to indent our paragraphs' first line? I know, this has nothing ...

Simple Markdown Questions

Hi, 1. Indenting the first line of a paragraph As far as I know, it doesn't seem possible to indent the first lines of paragraphs in Markdown, or is it (please see attached file)? 2. Assuming the above mentioned is not possible, I therefore won't do any indenting for the first lines of my paragraphs...

Re: Scrivener Links Questions and more

Hi Keith, Thank you very much for your reply. Very glad that links can be saved in the compile as explained :D As for eBook publication, although I quite understand this matter goes beyond Scrivener's support, Apple's iBooks Author seems to be a good choice. If I'm mistaken or if you have any other ...

Scrivener Links Questions and more

hi, i'm into a Scrivener project in which i'm linking some documents (text documents, no pictures & so forth) to others, the aim being to create an "end product" where the reader is free to jump from chapter 1 to chapter 5 (thanks to the hyperlinks), if he/she wishes so, instead of rea...

Re: Aeon Timeline & Scrivener sync

Hi Matt, As requested on your previous post, I sent you my project on December 10th, 2012 but I haven't heard from you so far. I'm therefore totally unable to sync my Aeon Timeline on more than one computer. I hope my MBA doesn't need to go to repair and that i can still use it for syncing... Thanks.

Re: Keyboard shortcut question

Thanks for mentioning it. Yes those shortcuts are intuitive indeed mainly on a qwerty keyboard. (although I'm using qwerty keyboard for several languages, the one I really master is the azerty keyboard, but shortcuts on azerty are ok too :) ).
