Re: Adding existing note to existing connection lines?

One thing I've noticed in a few of the threads here in the Windows support forum is responses with Apple commands, which is a bit confusing. eg: easier in some cases, is to just hit Cmd-X to cut the..i Please keep this in mind for those of us who have never had an Apple and have no idea what those k...

Feature Request: Auto-Backup & Auto-Save

I just downloaded Scapple and trying it for the first time. Dragging stuff from Scrivener etc. Had quite a bit on there (unsaved) and then I must have hit a combo of keys by accident which closed the program.. So all that time and effort lost! A simple auto save feature would be brilliant, as a star...

Re: Does the "Hero's Journey" Writing Approach Apply to Military Techno-Thriller / Historical Novels?

Rob - Red Storm Rising is certainly my favourite Clancy book. Difficult to emulate that sort of structure especially in real world history , But if you manage it - put me down for a signed copy :) I already have two motion pictures to my credit, one already on Netflix and the other in production wit...

Re: You can find ideas for building Story Worlds in different places on the internet.

Further to this do you create a physical ; 'map;' of the place your story takes place in?
My wife tells me that's something she really likes to have in a book.

My concern with that, much as with a 'dramatis personae' for a novel is that it can be a story spoiler to some extent.

Re: Dilemma: How to see trees from the forest after you have grown them

Thread Resurrection. I completely see where you are coming from. I am struggling at the moment with deciding how far I need to flesh out each character - and whether a vague characterization of one character will be noticeably distracting to a reader compared to another character. But I also think I...

Re: Who maps their fictional world (geographically speaking) ?

Thank you !

I was really hoping for something free as I really only need to do one map and can't justify that much expense at the moment.
( $35 US Dollars is about $45 of our earth dolllars)

But there's no doubt that FM seems to be an excellent piece of software !

Re: What fonts do you use?

I never gave much thought to fonts until recently. I changed the fonts I had been using (mostly Times New Roman, in a too small size) to Calibri 18 for all my Scrivener screen work. SO much better ! (thanks Karen Price) Thank you DavidWSnow for that post of yours. Your logic, and what you are wantin...
